Maul is a multi-band distortion and tone-shaping plug-in with advanced modulation. It is suited to all music requiring powerful sound-sculpting abilities - everything from subtle warming and loudness generation to shredding distortion and experimental creative effects.

Maul features 3 separate drive stages, each of which can act on a different frequency range with any of 32 distortion types. The available algorithms include DCAM-modelled germanium diode, tube and transistor-based circuits, clippers, overdrives, waveshapers of various kinds and bit-crushing devices for digital distortion flavours. Each drive stage also features control over transient-shaping, saturation circuitry and additional post-process tone filtering.

The built-in TransMod modulation system allows you to animate Maul's parameters with the internal LFOs, envelope follower and sample & hold devices as well as with external MIDI note input. This turns Maul into an extremely flexible device capable of dynamic filter patterns, rhythmic gating effects with extra bite, loudness and harmonic excitation effects and wild, dynamic distortion that can transform your audio.

Really appreciate all the goodies coming out from R2R these last couple of days. But I think there was a newer version of this plug-in already released by them back in 2013. I have v1.1.0.1 from R2R which can be found on here still. So I'm kind of wondering why it was necessary to contribute this one.

Maybe it's similar to the 2CAudio stuff where this one includes a keygen and the previous release didn't? Just speculating here but maybe somebody else have some extra insights.

This is what this release's NFO by R2R says:
"Our previous v1.0.1.1 is wrongly versioned by FXpansion. This v1.0.0.7 is the latest update for the time being..." So go figure...

Do I have to get a legitimate licence to get Maul cracked? ( = Did I need an original plugin bought)

Official License Manager has some serious problemes.
(Really lame that offline authorization is full of bugs)
Please read and follow the instruction carefully.

0.Before you authorize, finish your legitmate authorization.
This makes less problems for other offline authorization.
