not even close to the real deal hardware is more a blow to the Strymon engineering team who tackled the plugin architecture, not the cracking of this release, sure it likely is close but no cigar, but do let let that detract you from inhaling that sweet aroma, the half bloom, get half baked on that sweet cheese, do not let words diminish your audible joy.

PSA: something about the BigSky component completely broke AppleScript for me. I realised when I was trying to add a Kontakt library and received the error: "osascript: can't open default scripting component". After running "sudo fs_usage -w -f filesys osalang | grep Library/" in one terminal window and "osalang -L" in another (on the suggestion of a thread of people who understand these things far better than I do), I found unexpected opens being issued by "BigSky.component". Deleting fixed the issue immediately. Strange. This doesn't appear to be an issue with any of today's other big anonymous releases (that I've tried out, at least).

Only Big Sky AU work excellent in:
*Logic Pro X 10.4.4
*Ableton Live 10.1.43
**MacOS 10.12.6 Sierra (intel)**
(Dig, Deco, El Capistan, They did not pass the AU validation in Logic and the AU could not be created in Ableton.)

This is in no way a criticism of anything but the plugin itself- that said, these algorithms are shockingly bad to my ears. At least for studio use. Perhaps on guitar they sound quite good, but for general use, I can't overstate how surprised I am to test them only to find they are really- dare I say- bad to my ears. These other releases are AMAZING though! Thanks. Nice to test all of these!

its good stuff for sure. put on stock ableton piano and felt the same. ive heard alot of analog chorus pedals in 30 years. its really good. im a sucker for chorus though.
