How to install on Windows

Release Notes:
Omnisphere Software version 2.8.5c

Adds "Any" MIDI channel routing option to the MIDI Channel menus on the MIXER page. When "Any" is selected, MIDI Channels 1-16 are sent to the Part (aka MIDI "Omni Mode").
Fixes issue where the plugin output could become muted after loading multiple DAW projects in a row. This fix was added specifically for Cantabile (a Windows-only Host), but the error is likely reproducible in other Hosts.
Fixes note playback timing issues when Solo mode or the Arpeggiator were enabled and the host buffer size was large.
Fixes issue where the "Modulate with Orb" option in the right-click contextual menu did not work.
Fixes issue where the Patch dirty indicator (asterisk) could incorrectly disappear after using the UNDO command.
Seismic Pump effect: Improves TRIGGER button behavior when MODE = "Triv. Inv" and LOOP is Off.
Seismic Pump effect: Fixes issue with "Triv. Inv" mode where the envelopes were retriggered by incoming MIDI note events.
Mac only: Fixes issue on macOS where folders/files in STEAM could not contain a backslash character
Standalone app: Fixes issue where the Flow Capture feature did not record Metronome Tempo changes into the MIDI file correctly.

But do you have the STEAM folder?
I can only help you with that, I don't have MacOS

Confirming this worked perfectly on M1 Pro Monterey, Ableton 11, running as Rosetta.

Left open for 12 hours and no timebomb.

No keygen is needed, this comes pre-registered.

So because I could not clearly find the information whether this plugin was running on Apple Silicon Macs (M1/M2) WITHOUT Rosetta, I tried by myself in Cubase 12 running in native mode, and the answer is NO. I got immediately notified by Cubase, that the vst3 plugin was moved to the Cubase black list, because it is incompatible with Apple Silicon platform...

My bad bro, I was going by this..

Thanks for your help beatmachine. The same workaround actually exists for Cubase. However I did not intend to use Cubase in rosetta mode as I already noticed some huge performance drop with this mode in my projects compared to native. The plugins from Spectrasonics are the only ones, which prevent me from doing this unfortunately...

@maeluse, and then, what's your angry about. If your not happy, write to customer service. lol.
You are new here, and should take in account that you have all this for free, and you are not obliged to download anything, so please, keep your anger for yourself.
MORiA is working more than you...

I am new right, but regarding the "anger" aspect, I think you are showing more of it than me, haha. As you rightly mentioned, who would really complain about the tremendous job done by MORiA? My post expressed more a form of deception (or let's say "concern" whatever the pejorative connotation it may raise for you), since the ARM platform is already officially natively supported for almost one year and no new "awesome" release from MORiA or others since then include that support. No anger, but I would like to understand why: is that a real reason behind it, is it still worth waiting for a native support? Secondly, the object of my post was to report my experience as Cubase user on M1 native in the hope that it could be helpful for others. Maybe you were misled by the cute angry emoji?... I am sorry that it irritated you.

Emojis have sense, so you should use them for what they mean.

hey guys need help, Intel running Ventura.

So I have 1. the STEAM and 2. Omnisphere Moria V2.8.5c

So Step 1. I extracted the folder to get to updater.
pluginContents.pkg doesn't work extracting with Keka. Just says extraction failed. Is this because I don't have the actual application downloaded? I read here that Morias versions include everything you need but the STEAM folder. Am I missing something else? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for helping my incompetence

I’m sorry to ask the same question again - but there really is no clear answer in the comments above…

Does this release support ARM natively? Or is it running in a Rosetta wrapper, even if you are using your DAW natively (ie. Logic).

There IS an older cracked version that DOES work natively for M1 - but those of us using it have not been able to upgrade to the newer versions for sometime without using Rosetta. Can somebody please clarify if this version is in fact the ARM update we’ve been waiting for??

I was terrified that I would break something. I installed it over the R2R version, it works fine. I suggest you keep the old .dll somewhere if you are afraid of corrupting it. It's just a software update. If you don't want to install it, you can drag the .dll and .vst3 into the appropriate sections of your vst folders. Even if you break it, it's easy to get back. Now I will install the 2.8.1 patch library update.

MORiA works miracles.

update: After installation, the .dll and .vst3 in the MORiA folder should be replaced. For example, if the folder you installed is C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3, you should replace the .vst3 extension in the MORIA folder with the one in the VST3 folder. It didn't activate when I didn't do this for vst3 over the R2R version. Dragging files in the MORiA folder alone is not enough, at least for vst3. I updated from 2.6, if you have been able to license vst3 before, you should'nt have any problems. If you are not currently using vst3 and want to use it, you have to relocate the files after installation. Vst2 worked without installation, I don't know why.

MORiA still works miracles.

Excellent suff, MORiA but only one thing I don't like: why do you replace Reference Guide from menu by your signature? (macOS MORiA . - in particular for... Windows version). I've noticed it from VST2 (Omnisphere.dll) file.

Windows version is working perfectly.
