Native Instruments Kontakt 6 v6.7.1 Mac [MORiA]

This version perfectly works on Mac OS Monterey 12.4 M1 Mac Mini.

I used Kitty's KONTAKT library script to add KONTAKT Libraries since the new versions doesn't have the "Add Library" feature

So far it works without any issues on Logic Pro X

It shows up as not a 64-bit plugin for me in Cubase and BC Patchwork. Im on a new Mac Studio with M1 version.

Sorry I have an error when installing. Installation Failed. Anybody have a clue? Mac Mini m1 Bigsur - I did remove old version install again, but still stopped in the installation Moria.

There's a little issue with this version I'd like to point out :

NKI shortcuts can't be loaded

It's a bit pitty coz I get used to my custom Kontakt Libs aliases folder.

Still it works perfectly fine with original nki files. So once again - Thank you Moria!!

Alicias's keys does not work. it don't show up in the libraries
and if you drag and drop it into Kontakt, it will load up as demo (which you can't save in a project)

Having had a month or so on the new Mac Studio (M1, Monterey v12.3), I've had a chance to test a lot of things with this version of Kontakt, primarily in Logic X, v10.7.4. It boots and loads libs reliably, installs libs fine via Kitty's script. but I have noticed a number of consistent points of serious instability.

1. Occasionally it simply stops responding to commands. It hasn't crashed, but double-clicking or selecting an instrument to launch it does nothing. Removing the replacing the instance of the plugin will often remedy the problem, but often I have to restart Logic.

2. When doing a batch resave, if the lib has a large number of instruments, it will often not finish, and I get a Logic error message about a problematic plugin - as far as I can tell this is the only time I get it. In this case I have to restart Logic to resume, but often the only way to batch resave a large lib is to break its instruments into smaller batches.

3. Often it arbitrarily closes the instrument window. It hasn't crashed and the plugin is still loaded, but it's quite irritating when you have a creative groove going.

There are probably other issues I'm forgetting but these alone are enough for me to be hungrily waiting for an update.

I don't have Kontakt installed as this is a new MBP. Do I need to install the demo or something first?

Yes.. get the regular download from the NI website first.

EDIT: Solved! The 'Add Library' application that I downloaded is just a simple Kontakt 5.6.0 .... I thought that in this version NI had reinserted the old 'Add Library' function, so nothing new ... at least for myself. Thanks anyway![/quote]

Why is it when I access KK It says “Kontakt.vst” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.?? I am on M1. is there something im missing here??

UPDATE: It works fine if your not using Komplete control in M1 but if you use it for the KK... it says it can't load plugin. Can anyone assist me or help me out?

Installation folder not found! Please install from the original installation medium first. If the product is already installed on your computer, please start the latest version of Service Center, go to the "Overview" tab, click "Show Details" for the application you want to update, and browse to the current installation folder by pressing the "Locate" button. Then run the update installer again.

Anyone here getting this Kontakt release to work with earlier installed libraries and quickload libraries? Only Demos here and all libraries are gone from the Quickload directory.. I'm on Mac Catalina OSX.

its sad the libraries arranged dont stay the same once closed so its pain that you spend hours arranging the libraires and then they are reshuffled automatically once you open it again.
if anyone know any solution please share else this download is buggy.

With adding libraries isn't there a script or app that would allow you to select a folder and it add all the libraries? I just upgraded my 2008 Power MAC to a MAC Studio and only added a few libraries at a time over time but now I have a ton of libraries and really tedious to go into each folder to add them. On my PC, with the manage library app I can select the disk and it will find and add all libraries on it at once.

Thought this was a full program? Apparantly its just an update when i try to install. where do i get the full program of kontact 6 ?

There is a "disappearing library" bug on OSX Monterey !! If I reboot on Big Sur, all the libraries are there. I'm still looking for what causes this, but no luck so far.
Does anyone have this problem, or ideas of how to fix it ?

Standalone works great but Logic didn't find it in plugin's list, neither than in the "plug-in manager" selection, someone can help me?
