That PDF is a pretty poor attempt of Documentation because it doesn't tell you the most important thing:

The installer actually redirects the installation path of the plugins to the insides of the actual DMG.

In other words:

- Once you run the installer, the DMG has to remain in that exact same location after installation has finished
- Before you can use the waves plugins you have to mount the DMG first. That's what makes it a non-install.
- once you log-off or reboot you have to mount the dmg again before you can use the waves v11 plugins

Not Clear for me . I did not move that file so I did choose the original place of that .dmg

From what I experienced, the location of the DMG doesn't matter all that much.

From the PDF, there is a bit of emphasis (poor instructions altogether), but it didn't seem to matter.

I got everything to work, even on MacOS 10.15.1 (beta). I'm even able to have everything work without having the DMG on my mac.

The way this DMG works is that it is not installed, but 'referenced' via aliases in respective locations throughout the library, applications folder, etc. If you just copy all of the files inside the DMG to their respective places, then things should work out for you.

I've compare DMG elements to what's installed, missing just Wave_Shredder.component
After I start to reset & rescan Selection "Waves" in the Plug-in manager, all ok exept Grand Rhapsody who had a crash validation.
Did a Logic restrart all OK

Method After unpacking
1- From .dmg Load Delete Waves > and uninstall previous installation
2- Reboot
3- Come back to the Non Install.pkg > Install this
4- Go to >Waves 11 No Install Folder > and placereplace all the Folders in the given Path ( it only replaces the alias created by the no Install package)
Applications ; Library ; Users
5- After the Entire transfer go to Waves folder > Install waveslicenseengine
6- Come to click on All the AU reg Utility in Launchpad shortcuts or Applications > waves> waveshell folders
7- waveshell Au reg utility 9.7 won't work
Reboot
Install is Done

Note
* Grand rhapsody sample library can be relocated
create a waves id , go to download all the instrument sample libs SD or HD upto you.

* Clavinet and Bass Finger is missing in this Install
they are not updated to V11
if you wish to use them
Install through Offline waves Central from any previous Installer you find post install do remember to

Repeat:

Hi, first, thank you for the great post. I have read all comment and (pretty sure) i have have evrything installed after some hard work fiddling with the macOS 'unidentified developer' rubbish.

The part im stuck on now is when i open logic it reads the components but says "waveShell1-AU 11.0.component" cannot be open because the developer cannot be verified.

Ive tried using apples method of ctl-click>open but still doesnt work. any idears?

Method 1

in Terminal :

sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Waves/WaveShells\ V11/WaveShell1-AU\ 11.0.component

Thank you for your help iphobbes, the terminal method did not work for me and the second option i couldn't understand lol. i did, however, find a fix, a manual one.

about 25 mins with the system preferences > privacy tab open clicking cancel>open anyway>open. was a long-winded process for 573 instruments but i got there in the end and all works. many thanks :)

I've managed to install the Waves V11 Plugins using the official offline installer and the WavesLicenceEngine.pkg patch from the W11 Noninstall.dmg (tested on Sierra).

GUIDE:

0. Download the Offline Installer posted by tzzsmk http://cf-installers.waves.com/Offline/Central_Offline_latest_Mac.zip and unzip it. It unpacks in a Folder a folder called "Waves - 28.10.19" in your Downloads Folder
1. Mount "W11 NonInstall.dmg"
2. Run "Delete Waves App" (to remove the noninstall version)
3. Mount Waves Central-11.0.40.dmg. it's insde "Waves - 28.10.19" Folder
4. Install Waves Central (Drag and Drop)
5. Run Waves Central (STAY OFFLINE!!!)
6. Select offline Installer and point to "Waves - 28.10.19" Folder
7. Select and install Plugins and wait for the Installation to finish
8. Close Wave Central
9. Run "WavesLicenceEngine.pkg" located inside "W11 NonInstall.dmg" > "Waves"
10. Run "Waves AU Reg Utility1 11.0" located at Applications > Waves > Waveshells V11
11 Optional: Run Waves AU Reg Utility 9.7 inside > Waves > WaveShells V10
12. Have phun!

Works in Logic. Inserts work, Studio rack does not (due to dropped support for V11 Plugins)

Hey guys i need a help, i had installed waves 11, all ok and working, but all the time i start the Logic they scan 16 plugins (emo q4, emo generator), the plugins are working but they scan all the time the same 16 plugins.
Someone know how can i fix this !?

have you tried using the head tracker? I tried it and for some reason it will not access my camera, which makes the abbey roads studio 3 plugin useless.

Yep, I can confirm that the Head tracker does not work with this version. That might be a 'deal breaker' for some. Shame as this is a nice idea.
