Teletone Audio Tone Architect v1.0.0 [WiN/macOS] REGGED-MOCHA screenshot
MOCHA | VST3/AAX/AU | WiN: 43.1 MB | MAC: 56.5 MB
A saturation, tone shaping, compression machine.

The Vision
Tone Architect is not a one-knob wonder or a surgical tool. It’s a creative space — designed to bring back the joy of shaping sound by ear, not by eye.

Design and Distort
The SATURATOR section was designed by an electrical engineer to replicate the characteristics and complexities of the analog trinity: Tape, Tube and Cassette.

Push and Pull Tech
The TONE SHAPER section is where Push-Pull meets Multi-Band. This novel approach to tone shaping takes you out of the digital world, and into the analog universe.

Boost, attenuate, expand and contract using a Pultec inspired Multi-Band compressor that takes lackluster sounds back to the golden era of audio production.

Compress and Contour
The COMPRESSOR section utilizes a 4-stage RMS based VCA compressor with plenty of punch.

With 4x Oversampling and a built-in Multi-Band compressor, Tone Architect can add glue, shine, and an analog edge to anything from drum bus to mix bus.

100% agree it's mostly in the song and the musicians. Like 95% or more. There is as much misinformation on the 'all plugins sound the same' camp as there is on the 'this new EQ will change your life' side. Neither is correct and yes, as you say, none of it actually matters. The FFPQ4 EQ works for me in nearly all cases simply because I like the interface and things get done fast. I have 5 different hardware 1176s and can't say I think any plugin I've heard does the same as any of them. Believe it or not the IK one comes pretty close. None of it matters though!

As the old saying goes. 'opinions are like arseholes: everybody's got one'
Meanwhile all these plugin haters are hanging out here eagerly collecting what they describe as a pile of crap, hmm, If you don't like plugs don't fukn use 'em & don't come here bitching about free gifts. There's that other wise old saying too of course: 'A bad workman always blames his tools'

Excellent summation. This was a good read though. You had Moses with his "let my people go!!" and Lil Uzi Vert with his new age plugin hording (which I'm guilty of too). I'm going to delete a whole bunch of PA and Kiive stuff now but I can't do that to Waves though!!
is 1030 Plugins too much?

1600 in my components folder Mr Ceez! & counting! Kiive actually make 1 really good plug called Distinct Pro, I use it loads & their Audioscape compressors are good. I use a few PA plugs too, Glue compressor Masterdesk Pro, Millennia EQ, Neold U2a, Lindell series 80 & LTL Silver Bullet regularly get used, some of the Bettermaker & SPL + Knif Soma & others all get used. I wouldn't bin those if I were you.
