I'm not surprised your audio production workflow is crapping out on a 6 core machine. That's a gaming config at best.

I'm on a 64 Core pro with 256gb memory and a Clarett+2pre and I still crave bigger and better to run heavy processes like Gullfoss, SplitEQ and Frei:raum in real time on multiple tracks.

more cor4es are usless to run better plugins, only single core counts. daws can not multicore per track, only increases track count. but 6 core 3.2 is very slow nowasays, sounds like an ancient machine he got

A six core 3.2 ghz i7 at 6th gen , say an intel 6700k is more than capable of serious work!!

Dammn, im running a 10th gen i5. 4.2ghz 32gb ram laptop and believe me my project files squeeze every bit of capability from my setup with more often than not, cpu to spare,
6 core machines are more than capable depending on what specs and what chipsets are being used and how the pc is actually set up for audio has a seriously significant impact on performance!!
Plus the know how regarding cpu conservation within any Daw is key!

try having the screen on all the time and tweak it while let the audio play through, 15 minutes max for me, it will bomb.

Or maybe it wont bomb if you quickly set it and close. hmm. will test that.

yeah, I started using the God Particle for quite some time and mix into it and it gives me better result than the typical way of mixing into compressor. It happens with the FLARE version to me that it doesn't even once timebomb. I was lucky back then, now it's your turn. haha. Hopefully it will get properly patched in the future but it is still usable by set and close and even the screen goes black Reaper user can still access the non-GUI version. Or if you have to re- instantiate plugin, hard to not remember the settings, it's simple and as long as the render works, it's usable for now.

goddamn it, the FLARE version worked for more than a year without a single timebomb. This one fails after 15 minutes. :(



Timebomb Details

I waited for it to happens for 5 times before posting this to confirm that it really bombing. It was painful.

1. You need to let the plugin GUI screen open all the time and pinned it to the screen and watch it happens while the audio is playing.

2. THREE type of timebomb!
- it goes mute
- the plugin GUI goes all black but the processing still gets through.
- it emits continuous noises NEW! just found out.

3. All timebombs happens when the GUI screen is on. If you just set it and close the GUI probably wont happens like a member suggested above, for 5 hours. Hope cracker can find that timer or something.

4. Render and Recall works if done quickly.

5. I let the DAW on with all the processing with the God Particle set up and GUI closed. Let the audio play (on loops) and went away to do chores etc. Come back after 30-40 minutes (2 hours straight after no timebomb) everything is fine. So have a feeling the timebomb has to do with GUI screen on, if you let the plugin GUI open it has some sort of timer before bombing.

6. Workaround!!
- Just set it up, and don't open the GUI for too long if you mix into it. Close it and open the GUI back if you need time to tweak every 2-3 minutes just to be safe.
- if you are using this plugin because you're Jaycen Joshua's fanbois, just load the plugin and use it on default setting because that's what he'd do. The default settings are tailored to his real settings and if the plugin bombed, remove the plugin and add back.

WIN 11, Reaper. Computer is behind a tight firewall. DAW blocked, DAW pluginscanner also blocked. I did a clean install, and deleted every leftover from previous FLARE version, the config, presets, every folder that has to do with God Particle.

Yeah I believe you, like I said, the FLARE versio never timebombed me. It happens. I will try to rename and organize the vst3 file properly and see how it goes. It is still usable for me. Will keep using it.

For those who are used to latest Luca Pretolesi tutorials, you might know he likes to do a curious mid compression and side opening technique with a single FabFilter C2 on the masterbus... I think this thing does a similar thing but obviously, multiband and more specific stuff depending on the program. Sounds good! I like it!! But to unleash the fully potential of this bad boy my suggestion is to start a mix with a Tessla SE MkII BEFORE the God Particle... you will love it that starting point...

With the old release, when it bombed I just reloaded the project... Just a minor inconvenience as it wasn't that often.
If this release bombs I'll just do the same thing

1.Keeps trying to connect to internet (system is offline).
2. Scaling reset from 150% to default unexpectedly but showed 42%.
3. Audio became garbled after 5 minutes or so.
4. Tried 20 minute loop. Result was frozen GUI. Audio continued to be processed, Just could not access any control in plugin.

Seems to be random time bombs embedded like a virus/trojan.

I removed everything on pc, extracted only the .vst3 from .exe and renamed it like @Rein Robert did, "The God Particle.vst3"
In FL Studio:
I changed the scale, to 100 % scale. Why? well, according to the log file: To avoid artifacts at unusual scaling factors (e.g. 125% or 175%) make sure the object's height is divisible by 4
but anyways:
For testing, I set it on 1x oversampling....
Still works after 25+ minutes of use.

what program did you use to extract the exe? i tried different ones (7zip, uniextract..). none could unpack the installer exe..

- GUI blacks out after five minutes with
- - audio running when in foreground
- - audio muting when in background (audio not processed)
- working again in both cases when copying (not moving) to another track !

- 3-band compressor only affects Mid signal

- compressor adds only few harmonics, limter a bunch (with according aliasing)

EDIT: I meanwhile checked the CPU load, ~ 2x free TDR Nova each with all five dynamic bands active.

For all those experiencing timebombs, its related to the last release. Do a full uninstall and then do a registry clean. Reinstall....all problems gone! Works %100

No Cradle product has been previously installed (6 month old Windows 10 22H2 install).

Cradle 'The Spirit seems to be working normally (using demo vids as reference).

Pretty sure I can achieve similar functionality of God Particle with Tomo & a good limiter.
