Oh, sorry... my mistake. I missed that you were on Mac. For Win users, there was an installer, and then a .vst3 file to copy over after installing. I guess that isn't the case for Mac though.

I like this type of compressor plugin design compared to the PA AMEK mastering compressor.

This one is extremely well designed, sound good, analogue vibe + tons and tons of digital domain only features, flexible Att/Rel options, metering options, flexible clipping positioning, delta mode, polarity switch (even for wet only! useful for parallel comp), cool oversampling modes and the GUI also pretty. This can works on anything you throw at it and make it better.

Interesting compressor, thanks for providing.

My first findings:

Bug: EQ shelves = bell EDIT: nonesense, my fault, sorry guys

Cheating: Even if no treatment applied, the output is raised (PluginDoctor +3dB, on drums +3.4dB).

Incorrect (to be polite): Clipper = limiter. In PD, same reduction, same harmonics and same effect on sine wave -> nils on audio!
And they produce harmonics and thus aliasing AF (even when OS is set to HD (= 384kHz SR)).

EDIT:
Weak: GUI can only be changed by ~ 11% (if I haven't made another mistake).

Please notice: Attack and release times are pretty realistic as long as PSI is set to 5. Lower values increase these times, higher reduce them (both up to ~ 8x).
With PSI set to max and Attack set to min it looks like not a single sample is slipping through.

Oh, running fine on Win7 (min sys req Win10+ - officially) and you can move the (patched) VST3 wherever you want.

which EQ ? I tested the "To In" both shelves and bells working as they should. The Transformer IN or OUT will affect the curves though. With both xformer at 0, the EQs works as they should.

Also I'm still trying to understand the clipping and limiter features, the harmonic it generates kinda weird, and they look like the same for both. Same behavior, same harmonics etc. You are right about the OS doesn't affect them at all.

I find myself wondering the same with many plugins and it depends on the plugin, you have to test it which sounds better. :( Tedious. Then again, if you use reaper's OS the results are more predictable, but the latency is always bigger.

Would appreciate input from No Avenger, too.

Oversampling with aliasing? WTF?
It's the same with the BB tubes from waves! Bullshit oversampling. It just works on 2x. No difference in 4/8x. Hahaha...

I had a closer look at the OS.
Looks like it's only affecting the transformers, so not the harmonics caused by compression, limiter/clipper or O2 - which looks like a bug to me.
So comparing this to Reaper's own OS is pretty useless because Reaper oversamples the whole plugin, ofc.

Interestingly, Vintage is causing a minor phase twist and a high cut, Intel comes with linear phase and freq and HD is causing a minor phase twist again (but less than Vintage and to opposite direction) but the freq response is linear.
This makes me think that they're using three different algos and are not only changing the internal SR, which is strange.

Quick test no problems on Intel/Mojave
This is a really nice plugin.
I've only tested with a piano using the soft piano setting but it immediately made me happy!

vst3 not working here.Mac mini M1 wavelab 11.AU works fine in Reaper and Logic.

First : sounds nice and light on computer.
second: limit tools are not so nice compared to amek mastering.
Third: no tools like enhance sides or monomaker . . .

conclusion, in a good computer i will put amek, but in normal machines (like my computer) i will try this for several weeks.

MORiA since Lunar Lander, P42, P565, P914 they work don't you have a way to make P11 work on Sierra too? Just to test it...
