despite a clean reinstallation, a cleaning of the kontakt registry remains in demo mode I even used the R2R keygen solution this is the first time I have encountered this problem

the solution is to use the patcher over the original untouched setup.
it will take any license or none.

Hello bob, unfortunately I'm in the same situation of jayffe (demo mode) after patching with the patcher over the original setup. I can revert to your 7.1.3 which was ok but I wanted to share this. Thank you, good day

Kontakt 7 seems to crashed Cubase on closing. Everything works at it should, no problem whatsoever. It is just when you save and quit (or just quit) Cubase, the next time you run Cubase it will tell you that Cubase was crashed (Freeze) on its last use. It happens too many time and I've done some test to make sure it is the Kontakt 7 that causes it, and confirmed it. Same with previous release and this release. It never happen with Kontakt 6.

@bobdule can you please check why this happen ?

check the nicnt with a text editor
search if it is ras 2
<AuthSystem>RAS2</AuthSystem>
replace by ras 3 value

check the new nicnt, because some editor give a destroyed nicnt file after saving.

in ras3 mode, the activation is no more linked to regedit SNO KEY SYSTEMID value but to a license file.
some oldies can need to change the registration scheme to the last structure ras3.

older key using ras2 and keygened values can become conflictual and ask for activation. sometime residual SNO & KEY can show a not activated library, even if deleted.
it can need a regedit clean, or delete the conflictual key, make a new scan and add again with good values based on ras3 registration.

generally it happend on old shit and obsolete nicnt files. that can be updated from NativeAccess.xml data or making a new nicnt ras3 for home made.

Yes , maybe it´s the case with Hollywoodwinds (10 years old). Its not even showing the Demo mode in red, but asking for a serial to be activated. lol

Yess. Just create your own wallpaper with photoshop, Canva (free online photoshop) or just paint. U can use this template Click for DIY Template for example or just any picture with size 550px width x 99px height. Save as: wallpaper.png and drop in kontakt folder with the nicnt file. If you already added the bank with the nicnt maker and there only was a black space, it will be changed by the wallpaper.png

thank you very much for your effort, it works but the quick load keeps buffering even tho the folder is empty, i can't drag and drop instruments to the quick load. checked the folder in AppData, and it's empty.

Yes you can, this is not an update, it is a complete installer.
You could install it even if you didn't have any version of Kontakt installed.
