It seems - In the case of Arturia - the AU framework references to it's core code embedded in the VST3 framework, and stored inside the AU Component Bundle.

I confirm that Analog 4 is not working. Out of 13038 presets, it only sees around 2400. I tried to execute the codesign but the situation has not changed. I uninstalled the current version and I reinstalled the previous version of IND and everything works perfectly! I will wait for a fix from IND or other! For the rest it seems that all the other synths work well ... no crash (Logic X 10.5.1) or lack of presets! I have yet to make checks but the rest would seem ok! Otherwise I will update my post!

Edit: Finally I can confirm that the whole collection works perfectly (except for Analog Lab 4), no crash and no loss of presets .... at least for me of course!

For Mac users, I took the commands and made them into a single file for easy patching.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to here but I'm sure someone will let me know if it's a problem.

I tried going back to the cashmeer analog lab but it didn't load after patching . Hope this one gets a fix then.

I used the iND version to roll back Analog Lab, it's more recent then the Cash release. Working great as far as I can tell

Thanks. I'll try. I wish I could figure out why some packs work and some don't on the new one.

edit: On Catalina the ind one crashes on load standalone and doesn't load in LPX for me even if codesign. I'll just use the new one partially till a fix I guess.

Works sometimes when terminal doesn't. I haven't upgraded to Catalina yet so I can't vouch. But it seems to do a much more thorough job. You can change owenership / permissions but also unlock, clear xattrs (< I think* may be your problem) and clear ACLs

no, I usually do that, but tried the deep codesign . Probably if I strip out all analog lab and start over might help, but I may just wait and see if it gets fixed. thanks for the suggestions.

This release of Analog Lab 4.2 is not working proberbly.

But the preveious IND version works very well, apart from not including OB-Xa V.
If the IND version is not working for you, and the obvious Catalina workouts is not helping either, it may be due to the LPX validation failing.

It can always be circumvented using the "OSX Validate All AUs" tool.

You may be able to find it on AZ.
What the "OSX Validate All AUs" does is overwriting the original AU scan binary with the magic bash script.

You can replicate it by writing the above three lines into a text (plain TXT) file, save it to your desktop under the name "auvaltool".
- BatCHMod it as executable.
- Mount the Catalina system as writable using teminal command:
sudo mount -uw /
- Locate the original auvaltool with
open /usr/bin/
- copy it to a safe placed (just in case :-).

Now copy the the fake auvaltool from your desktop to its original location with terminal command:
cp ~/Desktop/auvaltool /usr/bin (and let it overwrite (type 'y')

Now Logic will validate all AU Plugins perfectly. :-)

Hi everyone, Logic 105.1 here on mojave. The AU validation is not working for me : /

I have that line in my terminal window :

"xcrun: error: invalid active developer path (/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun
