You don't need to use account from pack. You can create your own and you don't have demo modules, only free full stuff.

Many of the same modules for pay on Voltage Modular are free on the VCV side, VULT especially. So many cool things are, that I rarely have GAS for the commercial ones.

Yes. After Version 1.0 (out 2 months ago) For example You be able to assign midi knob from controller to anything in rack and many more stuff. A lot of free modules! You only need to create free account on official site and add all free stuff to library. After login to VCV Rack everything will be downloaded and updated automatically.

Complicated and you have to be all the time online , presets are using modules in demo mode . Reaktor blocks is much better or VCV racks ...

You only need to login once and download the additional modules and then you can use it offline without any problem so no problem regarding that but yes I also think that both VCV and Raktor are better than voltage modular.

Thanks for the hint, and I admit that it has a very nice sound (maybe better than VCV Rack).
Check out Alpha Forever, Its not free, but worth every penny.
I can do anything with it, from analogue to digital(Also PhysicalModeling), from mono to poly Patches, and the filters are the best I heard in a virtual modular patch space, and you can use it as an instrument and fx chain!
It can be a little dull the first time you open it, but I see this as very slick and efficient, its visually comparable with ableton and bidule in this regard..., you can download the zip file, and just copy it in your VST folder to test the demo.

Edit:You can also use it as a complementary tool on VCV rack per VST host module, check out the videos on alpha website....also check out the designer feature wehre u can have a rack in rack in a rack in a rack etc.

I know it's subjective but actually I think Reaktor beats them all in terms of sound quality and overall I don't think voltage modular is better than other modular softwares out there, in short if anyone wants a free one should go for VCV and if anyone has or want to buy one should go for Reaktor and be done with it.

ok, thanks for all the info Roject...yes, i installed the free modules from cherry modular site and registered already...seems like the CV to MIDI modules are not included in that pack though...Voltage Modular seems to run smoother on OSX than VCVrack..funny since it's done in Java.
