WAVES Analog Summing Plugin - NLS v9.0.2.3 MAC OSX [K]
EDIT: BE very cautious with this installation - don't download other plug-ins than NLS. I had installed DYNAMICS release before, no guarantee for ASSiGN release!

If you feel the Need to install 9r2 is Install NLS first, then install either Dynamics/Assign version, then drop the file that's provided, into /Applications/Waves/Waves Plug-ins

NLS Channel/Buss Controls
* Studio sets the console type.
* Drive controls the amount of harmonic distortion, increasing the input signal and decreasing the internal headroom.
* Output / Trim controls gain adjustment.
* VCA Group assigns the NLS instance to a VCA Group, for global control via the VCA Groups Console.
* Link toggles between Dual Mono mode, where the left and right channels are not identical models, and Stereo mode, where left and right are identical.(NLS stereo Channel only)
* Mic the headroom by simulating mic input levels. (NLS Channel only)
* Bypass deactivates analog harmonics, noise and frequency response effects.
* Noise activates modeled analog noise.
* VCA Tab shows and hides the VCA Groups Console section.
* Meter displays output signal peak dBFS values.


VCA Group Console Controls

* Auto enables automation writing and reading for the VCA Groups Console.
* Group Bypass the NLS effect on all instances assigned to that VCA Group.
* Group Noise controls the noise for all the NLS instances assigned to that VCA Group.
* Group Drive sets the drive offset value for all NLS instances assigned to that VCA Group.
* Group Trim sets the output gain offset value for all NLS instances assigned to that VCA Group.
* Group Studio sets the studio type for all NLS instances assigned to that VCA Group.
* Group Name a text field which allows you to customize the name of each VCA Group.

Waves_Complete_V9r2.app and the WOLI_V9.app WILL NOT install on Lion 10.7.3!!! Get the message "Gathering Information" stuck doing absolute shit. Anybody got a workaround? Because Logic 9.1.7 won't validate the cracked AU without that demo first installed, or so it seems.

OSX 10.7.3, Logic 9.(whatever) and PT 10.1.2..... ALL SYSTEMS GO!!.

Gonna start a mix with it on every track tonight and I'll let yall know how it goes.

first installed the NLS which fucked up Waves V9 r1 and didn't show up in the list.
Then re-installed V9r1 and replaced the K-file in the Waves-plugin folder...working like a charm!!! THANKX

So if you are having problems on PT9 crashing (OSX 10.6.8) I couldn't get ProTools to stop crashing, so I've finally figured it out.

1. Uninstall Waves
2. Install the NLS plug. But be sure you scroll down to the bottom to select single plugin, and it should say "NLS-Non-Linear Summer" you should only have 1 check.
3. Install Waves (I installed the dynamics version)
4. That's it. Works like a charm!

LION 10.7.3 NEEDS A SPECIAL BETA FROM WAVES TO INSTALL - they KNOW about the 10.7.3 problem but you have to request it from their support dept. You'll get the download details emailed to you after about 12 hours.

Works a treat in Logic but not working with PT 9.0.6 for me. Asks for licenses. Anyone else had this issue, resolved it perhaps?

Followed directions and it doesnt worked, because instalation replace all waveshells.

Ive tried to reinstall waves V9 and copy only the crack to waves plugins and it doesnt work, I got this message in protools 10: The plugin could not be made active because DAE is low on memory.

According to waves this installer is out of date. I don't know if the crack will work on the updated installer, but I doubt it, so not willing to risk my current waves plugs over it.

I got one tune completed with the awesome plugs, then my computer melted and i needed to format and reinstall everything.
Now the installer has expired! I do intend to buy these someday when i can afford it, but to get a taste of what they can do then having it taken away, now that hurts lol sad

In order for this plugin to install, you need waves V9. Version 8 will not recognize NLS and that is why it is asking for a license. Install the newest install package from waves, which i believe is V9r3. You can download it on the website. Then try to install the waves nls plugins as directed.

Need a bit of help here..
I have installed Waves Complete v9r3 UPDATE MAC OSX Intel from Audioz.. no errors. but i cant seem to find NLS in my waves Audio Effects list in Logic 9.1.6 on a Lion Mac.. Where do i find it?


i even tried replacing nls bundle in waves plugin folder with the k'd one but still no effect? it doesn show in my audio units list ...

in logic some waves plugins now crash when removed or moved ive uninstalled and done this process a few times ay ideas?
