Waves protection can't be defeated anymore with a simple crack,
keygens or emulators are the only ways to have it working properly.
You must get rid of any cracked version completely before installing this release.
You should also remove previous v9 installs using the same procedure.

Got it working!!

i've tried the ethernet thing and disk repair but it didnt work.
Than i've copied the Waves central and the installers in the application folder and it worked.

Ouch, to put W.C. to /Applications was the very first thing readme said.
And you have to leave it there after install, it's needed for plug to run.

point WC to Waves 15.8.2018 folder and it will still recognize it...

as far as I know, contents of "installers" is being modified during install (for some reason),
make sure you put the installers into location with full read and write permissions,
also make sure you're picking "top" folder, actuall install process is able to dive into subfolders eventually

All good here (I used the 1.0.2 keygen, which fortunately came out before I actually installed). One thing that pisses me off, and I can't remember if this was also the case with later versions of v9, but I had to go through all the plugs and apps in Waves Central to remove the Digigrid and stage applications ... only to discover that it still installed a bunch of that crap. Even worse, there's no longer any way to go into Waves Central after the fact and uninstall just the stuff you don't want individually, which you used to be able to do. You can either uninstall all the plugs and apps or all the DIgigrid and stage crap or both ... but if you just wanted to uninstall eMotion and, say, Infected Mushroom, but leave everything else intact, you can't. A lot of Waves stuff appears in multiple bundles, so removing certain things during the installation process doesn't necessarily mean it still won't be installed. No big deal, I guess, and going back and uninstalling all the Digigrid and Stage stuff solved my problem (I also had to use the actual Digigrid uninstaller located in the Waves apps folder to remove all the drivers I thought hadn't been installed, or had been uninstalled when I told Waves Central to do it), but it's weird that you can't uninstall just a couple of things; it's all or nothing.

Hi mate, I pretty much hate Waves, but I must say it makes sense in this case.
WavesCentral is meant for legit users of course, and if one own let's say
12products, he probably want to just uninstall all Waves
from the computer, i.e. to remove all Waves after he used
mobile USB authorization on somebody else's studio, or also
just to remove it before moving to a new computer.
Rarely a legit user need to uninstall just one plugin off the i.e. 10-12 plugs he own,
if he paid for them all, it's cause he need them all probably.
Not even justifiable by crahes/problems with a plug,
as being based on Waveshell framework, it's close to impossible
that a single Waves plug give problems while the others don't.
You have to take some time when you install it,
and check well what you want installed and what not.
You can i.e. disable all digigrid drivers and software at install time,
and only choose Mercury bundle for -almost- all plugs and also choose
the other bundles/plugs you want installed from these (thx inforlk):
-Abbey Road Collection
-Bass Slapper
-DTS Neural™ Surround Collection
-Infected Mushroom Pusher
-Mercury
-Nx – Virtual Mix Room over Headphones
-Pianos & Keys

over previous install and trash license backup created on /Desktop

Well, I only say it's frustrating because you can choose what to install, just not what to uninstall. That used to not be the case with v9 (though I think they changed it towards the end) -- you could pick which individual plugs and apps to uninstall. Now, it's either all regular plugs and apps, all Digigrid/Stage/drivers and their apps or both, with no individual options. And while you can pick what to install, you again don't have full control, as a lot of the plugs are bundled ("Live", "Stage", etc.), so just because you de-selected all the Digigrid drivers, for example, they still might get installed, because they're hidden in other various bundles you did install. Even more confusing, as I also stated, there's a special uninstaller in the Digigrid apps folder in the Waves app folder that you also have to use, because the Waves Central uninstaller doesn't even uninstall everything. I eventually got it all cleared out, though.

At the end of the day, it's like complaining about only getting three kinds of steak sauce with your free steak instead of three kinds of steak sauce, horseradish and au jus, so it's not really a valid complaint at all. The plugs and apps work great, I just loaded everything up successfully in Logic, which is the touchiest DAW for plugs, as well as DP and Pro Tools ... and I didn't just pay out the equivalent of a decent used car to get them.

As for the keygen, I'm sure the 1.0 version would have worked the same, but I knew they'd accidentally left off a couple of plugs, so I'm grateful that part was kept simple for me.

Thanks! As said, it was just a corruption problem during install,
as the PNG_.zip archive inside release is not corrupted, checked now.
Probably it gets corrupted while being installed.
Replace it with the one kindly shared by microghost.

Hello,

I have Pro Tools 2018.1 and macOS Sierra 10.12.6. I've installed selected products. It's all fine with new project but I can't open my old projects right now. Pro Tools says: "The application Pro Tools has quit unexpectedly."

Anyone knows why is this happening?

No idea sorry, I've seen on DUC (on Win tho) and GS
that somebody had some problem with old sessions,
while v10 worked ok for others in existing sessions made with v9.
Nobody posted a solution tho, for the little I've seen.
I advice you to go to DUC or GS and investigate deeper.
Just don't mention cracks there, if you don't want be
tied with ropes and set on fire in the middle of the place.
Anyway to check the reason why protools crashes, open its crashlog.

Yes it works, few people had problems, not related to keygen
but to specific problems with THEIR 10.12.6 install and Waves (legit also)
If you want an advice, update to 10.13 anyway, 10.12 just sucks.

coo..I did before and my N.i. tracktor lastest version didn't work with 10.13 so I rolled it back.

I updated to 10.13. I installed waves 3 times but Keygen is doesn't working now. I did everything right but I don't know why is this happening to me.

Be sure you have uninstalled all previous installs, if present.
Be sure you DON'T try to run waves after install, before registering with keygen.
Anyway, your computer is ok, try to run this command:
sudo chmod 777 /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Licenses

Then use keygen again.

I even downloaded the installer again, uninstall and install almost 5-6 times again and used your command but it's not working for me.

You mean this release here? Or from waves?
"Not working" is too generic. What do you mean?
Can install but plugs ask for license?
Can't install? Crashes?
Also, after running keygen is there a "0XXXXX_XXXXXXXX.wle" file in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses/
?
Another thing, are you using the 1.0.2 keygen already?

I mean this release here of course.

I use little snitch and I turn wi-fi off before the install. I delete every time all waves files even Waves Central. After that I install plugins with Waves Central. I run AU Reg Utilities. I reset my computer. I run keygen and it says keygen is successful. I use Keygen 1.0.1 but this time I've even tried 1.0.2 version.

I open Pro Tools and it says “No valid Waves licenses found.”
I've tried to license to a USB stick but I get that error again.

I got that file after running keygen: "093235_685B3598F726.wle.out"

That's weird, you are doing everything properly...The license is there...
Try to run these two commands and send me output:
/Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle/Contents/SharedSupport/wle files

If this output nothing, probably the WLE installed is not the right -patched- one.
Then run this to check if it's the proper one.
md5 /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle/Contents/MacOS/WavesLicenseEngine

proper md5 hash should be: 80f68adbb4c3af46ed4bc1cc5dd7015a

I've downloaded the release to my desktop again, installed but it's still not working.

It's output nothing but md5 hash is right.

WTF insane. There's something wrong with your system,
no idea what tho, and what can be done to fix at this point...
Only sure thing is that legit won't work either
You can use cracked one probably,
(loading time is slower and might have problems with synth presets tho)
but I'm not even sure it will work in that case, as the problem
seems the communication between plugs and wle...
