Shit I was hoping it was just a bug and it would work after the beta expire...I was at day 0 yesterday so kontakt will stop today. I have many sessions using it, hope I can open them with previous kontakt versions...

Timed out, I'm dead in the water on sessions saved with this version. Gonna have to go back and reload all the samples from the session w 6.3.2. Really wishing I'd see the 6.4.1 release here...

I tried to open but it's crashing ! back to 6.3.2 and let you know. Logic/vienna ensemble pro
[EDIT] Couldn't load my logic sessions, ! Kontakt 6.3.2 won't load instruments saved with 6.4 version...I'm dead !! help !!!!

It helps to start Kontakt on its own. But my licensed DAW (Pro Tools) won't load with the changed date ...

The only fix is to set back mac clock. Launch Logic or session using kontakt. When loaded you can reset clock to right date. Kontakt won't check date anymore until the next launch. It works for me on Mojave.

Went back to 6.3.2, no biggie.

I went back to 6.3.2 as well. "No Biggie" unless you've had songs in process, used this version 6.4 and saved your work. When you go back to 6.3.2 all your patches you had loaded in to Kontakt and saved inside your song file (Logic, Ableton, etc.) is not retained. You get a warning when launching the song telling you to upgrade Kontakt. Then you have to try and remember what samples were loaded where and any tweaks you may have done to those patches. Hence the complaints and eagerness for 6.4.1.

So far the problem is not “solved”. You can play around with setting the system date back — something I’m not interested in doing, or install the previous version of Kontakt. I went with using the previous version of Kontakt. It does create some rework if you open any previously saved Logic project that used Kontakt 6.4, but it is workable.

I installed command line tools and terminal says I successfully codesigned the Kontakt.app but I'm still getting the error message: "This BETA version of Kontakt has expired.
Please check http://www.native-instruments.com/
for details on how to obtain a full version".

Kontakt isn't opening at all standalone or within ableton. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

For catalina users. But if you use the previous osx I would try it too.

step 1.
close all applications and restart your mac.
step 2.
open terminal
step 3.
enter this code for standalone version
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Native\ Instruments/Kontakt/Kontakt.app
if your kontakt has the name "kontakt 6.4.1.app" remove the space (rename the app and change the name in the code too) between kontakt and 6 ... "kontakt6.4.1.app"
step 4.
for .au and .vst enter the code below

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Kontakt.component

codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Kontakt.vst

step 5.
in steps 3 and 4 the terminal "maybe" asks for your admin password, asking or not, will work as long as this message appears:
replacing existing signature

now open kontakt and see if it worked.

to add libraries.

download version 5.6.0 K'd and do not install .component or .vst just put .app in the application folder and do the procedure in the terminal again sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Native\ Instruments/Kontakt/Kontakt5.6.0.app (I renamed the app to identify)

if you have added the libraries in version 5.6.0 and they disappear when you open kontakt again, download this app:

run the app.
now you can install the libraries

Sorry but nothing works with mojave - The demo version is finished and prevents me from opening all my projects :( it's a pain :(

It does not.
The 6.4.0 Mac version we have available in warez fails to open. This was a problem Native Instruments had with all Kontakt 6.4.0 customers (legit, Mac & Windows) too. NI quickly released a 6.4.1 update, for which there is a Kr'kd Windows version. Unfortunately at this time we do not have a Kr'kd Mac version to use. You will have to go back to the 6.3.n version for the Mac, for now.

Once again there's no 6.4.1 crack but no need to go back to 6.3.2 just set back clock before lauching your kontakt, when it's done reset clock to right time. working using AU plugin in logic (and VEPro) too.
