Dear all, I bought this one a few months ago, weird layout bu great sound.

Bear in mind that some recent expansions don't work on this rather old version.

Also, Avenger originated expansions don't work under recent releases at there is a license key attached to them (not applicable to third party expansions however).
Thsi kinda sucks in my opinion, given the fact that Avenger expansions are quite expensive ! I finally reinstalled this cracked version instead of my legit one so I could use my downloade psy expansion: such a nonsense !

Before @imac-rusian's version, I downloaded a different version of this (no easy install) that was bundled with what I assume are all the expansions, or at least all the ones available at the time. Thankfully, if I ever get around to installing this, I don't have any interest in psy or trance or dubstep or whatever, just decent synth sounds.

i cant seem to get the expansions working, nor the factory content, for some reason i see them as folders with the avxp extension, so not as single files

Did you watch the video to make sure you followed every step?
Also, what did you use to extract the .iso file?
I'm on 10.11.6 using studio 1 ver 4.1.1
Tested, no issues with plugin or expansions.,
I want to help not hinder.

it's a shame because those who install the version of a previous post gives us an error, however I install it on a laptop that never install avenger and if it works

Haven't installed this yet, but my main question is, why are expansion presets for a soft-synth totaling over 9 GBs?!? Especially when the actual synth (that I assume has presets? Or not?) is only 165 MBs? Is this an Omnisphere-type deal?

the synth is 165 mb without the factory content which is 2gb, it's a combination of samples, wavetables and settings. that said there are plenty of soft synths that have a big content library.

Hello,
Can anyone confirm that VST and VST3 are working and do not crash the DAW with this specific version of Avenger 1.2.2? I had spectacular crashes in Studio One 4 with VST and VST3 with a Rutracker torrent of Avenger 1.2.2. I didn't even bother to try this version out as the AU from that Rutracker torrent seems to be stable and crash free in Studio One 4. Someone in some forum somewhere said they had crashes everywhere except Logic which led me to believe the AU was rock solid. That seems to be the case unless someone here can preach a different gospel on the VST and VST3 in this version? I'm on latest Mojave 10.14.4 with Studio One 4 4.1.3.

I'm on El Cap and VST and VST3 working file here. Went thru a few expansions and still no issue. Made a project using all Vengeance and saved and loaded back up with out iasue.

Thanks for that information. Unfortunately I just tried it myself and it crashed again. Do you have internet enabled and the blocked host in your hosts file? That's my setup. I think I'll have to stick with using the AU with Studio One 4.

HI thanks for the feedback. When you say hans what do you mean? Should I unblock the host?

UPDATE: I noticed your new install script added several more blocked hosts in my host file. I had duplicates of one of the blocked hosts so I just deleted the duplicate. Maybe that's what was causing the crash?

Thanks. I had to uninstall the plug-in. The CPU usage is very high with some of the presets/patches and I just had a crash even with the AU when closing Studio One. I think it may have something to do with memory optimization of 1.2.2 which may have been fixed in a more recent version of the plugin. If we get a crack for 1.4.8 I may give it another try. I appreciate your work in making this version available to try out.
