i know i may sound too optimist, but i think that "impossible" is an exaggerated word,i mean, just because something hasn t been cracked yet,it doesn t mean it won t be in the future,i think it only takes the right people with the time, will and knowledge to do it,i m pretty sure some geek one day will take the challenge

Instructions say uninstall previous versions....easier said than done with something like this. I already have v9r13 installed....how would I go about uninstalling that properly before putting this on? Thanks in advance!

Your best bet is to use something like EasyFind and -carefully because waves is a very common name-
delete everything afterwards.
Finder can't find everything.

Wow..This worked for you guys, but it totally didn't work for me. Logic X-
I had to go back to the previous version. That's weird, i tried everything that was told, I even went to forums, I tried everything and it didn't appear. Thanks anyway

masnoie,
lt's sounds like you neglected to run Waves AU Reg Utility before using them in Logic. That utility is found in /Application/Waves/Waveshells. Run that first and Logic will then see all the plug-ins.

I can't access rghost most of the time normally.
If that ever happens again just use a webpage based proxy to access it, takes 5 seconds.

Hmm. Odd.

After installing, I ran Waves AU Reg Utility 9.2 and received this error message after clicking "Let's Go!":

WaveShell AudioUnits Utility Has encountered an internal error.
Please reinstall WaveShell-AU and try again.

I had no prior versions of Waves installed and during the initial installation after unrar'ing, I selected only AU for installation. This is happening on a fresh machine running OS X Mavericks.

Any and all assistance that may help remedy this would go immensely appreciated. Thanks in advance, everyone.

No, it isn't specific to the age of your machine. I'm running OS X Mavericks on a fresh gen. 2.6GHz i7 Haswell rMBP and have encountered the same error.

I'm not entirely sure why this is happening, but I may attempt to use Batchmod prior to running it, considering that - based on the research I did last night - has been common practice for every other Waves crack by R2R. I would be curious to know, for those who got this to work, if this was part of their process or not.

I had the same error, the way I fixed it is that I copied the component from Application/waves/Waveshell and put it in library/audio/plugins/component. It will ask if you want to replace the old one, hit yes.
Run the AU reg utility app again after that and it will work.

Hmm. Interesting, Bomar.

Please do report back, Majik. If it pans out well for you, I'll surely be giving it a go before proceeding with Batchmod.

Well, I ended giving it a try and to no avail - still receiving the same internal error message as I had prior to attempting this.

Batchmod proved to be of no assistance either. I guess I'll be skipping this one. Thanks for the up regardless!
