Thx, but sadly doesn‘t work for me (Big Sur).
After placing those .json files there Sound ID won‘t start - it uses 99% CPU but doesn‘t react. Tried batchmod but didn‘t help.

e: Doesn‘t work because I block internet access with Little Snitch. When deactivating the firewall or internet-connection it opens

Quantumstate's advise worked for me although I had to use Permissions Reset on the files.
batchmod didn't work for me
I find this version is much more cpu intensive than reference 4 so will stick with that
Thanks though.

hey, can you let me know what you tried doing with batchmod? I still don't know how to use it or what options to choose, any idea on how to guide me on making this work? Or even permission reset on the files?

INSTRUCTIONS:

First of all, I never used Pacifist nor Batchmod, so these instructions could be a little imprecise, but it did the trick for me so I'm sharing them:

First, you have to download Pacifist and batch mod. Once installed the pkg, you have to open it using Pacifist (you simply open Pacifist and select the .pkg file from TRAZOR). In the upper right corner there's a search bar, you type "license" and it automatically should direct you to the folder where you can find "license.json" and "user.json". Once done you select and right click to extract those files where you want; you then want to put those files here (as someone said in a previous comment):

/Macintosh HD/Users/YourUserName/Library/Application Support/Sonarworks/SoundID Reference

Now you just have to open these two files one by one using batch mod and give permissions to them (I also changed the file's ownership). You should get it to work now.

I also encountered an error when adding outputs to Sonarworks "Preset switch failed, Unable to load the audio driver", and for me, resetting CoreAudio Engine did the trick; type in the Terminal the following line:

sudo launchctl kickstart -kp system/com.apple.audio.coreaudiod

Now it works like a charm (at least as I'm typing it), except for some unexpected freezes here and then (just reload the app and it's all good tho).

P.S: I also blocked incoming connections for the app in the System Settings > Network > Firewall menu, just to be sure it didn't get updates or such.

Have fun everybody, and remember to buy your softwares when you have the money to do so!

I also Encountered the "Preset switch failed, Unable to load the audio driver" Problem.

After Resetting the AudioCore Driver with ---> sudo launchctl kickstart -kp system/com.apple.audio.coreaudiod

Did it for me.
