Use Batchmod to clear permissions

As someone said you need to use batch mod and fix permissions. The way to do that is to:
a) if you don't already have it, download BatChmod and put into Applications folder.
b) drag the patch.command into desktop
c) run Batch Mod then drag patch.command from the desktop into its windows (be sure to read into the upper "tab" of BatChmod something like /Users/YOUR-MAC-NAME/Desktop/patch.command
d) Check "R" "W" and "X" for everything (so "Owner" "Group" and "Everyone"). Make sure that "Change ownership and privileges" is checked. Everything else you can leave unchecked. Press Apply.
e) Now you can close BatChmod and open patch.command. Remeber to press control on your keyboard before clicking on it or it won't open (unless you have gatekeeper permanently opened which is not advisable!).

I can't go more Dumb-Proof than that. Hope it helps.

ugh, I'm horrible at this - can someone go through the process as if for a child. I downloaded the .zip. I didn't have any NI/Kontakt software installed before. I ran the installer and then the patch.command. It prompted a small window saying "applying patch" with a small locked key symbol behind the "Password" line. When I open up Kontakt it just prompts me the activation screen and when I press activate it asks me to download the Native Access tool (should I do this?)

EDIT: Tried Batchmod as well but it didn't change anything

The patcher works on catalina intel macs but not on big sur m1 macs, can confirm, tested on m1 mac mini, corrupts kontakt and logic cant open it

this is the message in terminal

"xcrun: error: unable to load libxcrun (dlopen(/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/lib/libxcrun.dylib, 0x0005): could not use '/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/lib/libxcrun.dylib' because it is not a compatible arch).

it crashed on logic 10.6 / catalina the first time,
reinstalled it : the AU ( and VST / aax ) is here but validation fails.

I've changed permissions with batchmod but yet, it won't validate

any idea how to fix this ?

I'm having the same issue as a few others: crashing Logic 10.5.1 in Mojave 10.14.6

I've given my computer a neck massage and coaxed Terminal to give me permissions on the Patch; and also run Batchmod to change permissions on the AU, VST, app (and even AAX)... but it fails validation.

Standalone app wont open, either.

Kontakt may be done for Mac via this patch method. Big Sur is trippin.
