1) delete all instances of crossover using FindAnyFile to start clean
2) drag app to Applications folder
3) drag croslic folder to desktop
4) hold Option > right click license.tool > Open > Open > enter local pass > Enter
5) hold Option > right click Crossover app > Open > Open
6) app should launch with no demo window

When I get a version of CrossOver that works I never up grade it.
They all do the the same thing and it avoids a lot of problems.

That's why deleting the .plist is a good option. You can also edit the .plist file so that the trial version says something like "100,000" days, instead of "14" days. Look it up on YouTube.
