Atmospheric birds sound recordings

A while back we stayed at an AirBNB near Joshua Tree National Park.

The hosts set up a bird feeder right outside the porch which inevitably drew what seemed to be the entirety of the region’s wildlife to our doorstep, including a bobcat and some coyotes. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any sound from the bobcat, and only mediocre recordings from the coyotes, but the Gambel’s Quails stole the spotlight and gave us a lot of interesting and goofy sounding bird calls to listen to.

The atmosphere the birds created was so interesting to us that we spent countless hours listening, taking photos and recording them.

Fun!! joshua tree is one of the best places on earth. Ive been 100+ times, and there is still much left for me to explore. its HUGE. Highly recommend for anyone that has yet to go. If you are ever visiting the Los Angeles area from overseas, or elsewhere in the states, feel free to message me and i can point you to some worth destinations within the park and surrounding areas. Its worth booking a few days out there. Lucky of these guys to encounter such wildlife. Ive seen my share of rattlesnakes, coyotes, birds, rodents and even the elusive big horn sheep, but have yet to see a bobcat!
