This is a great library and I thank you for sharing it, but I have to say it's one of the worst packing jobs i've seen in all my years here. The unnecessary multiple levels of wrapping and rewrapping, and having to individually unpack each subsection - all that is frustrating enough, but what's worse is that all the finely tuned embedded metadata SI puts into their products is stripped out. This makes it of limited use at best.

Creo que el formato original es DVD, y por eso está empaquetada de esta forma. Es una librería que tiene sus años de publicada. It's 2003.

not really sure what your talking about all i did was zip the iso files thats it.you unzip the rar theres an iso so theres no multi layer i have to atleast rar the files once to upload.As for meta i didnt strip anything this isnt my first post what would be the point of me taking anything out of a post that makes no sense?

Old DVD Sound Ideas libraries came with pdfs and htmls (sometimes even small librarian executables) with numbering, description, categories, durations etc, so I believe they were never really "embedded with metadata"

Injector by BaseHead has metadata for Immersion 5.1 but it can't rewrite the filenames because of some bug in the software, it just crashes. I think it's because it doesn't support renaming split multichannel files. It can embed metadata into the existing files though. I spent some time remixing the individual channels of each sound effect into 5.1 wav files and Injector seems to work with them. It writes to the UCS Description field, so you can at least search for the original extended filenames on Soundminer.

I dont know but i uploaded everything that was available its an older pack but i seen it wasnt on here so i shared it took a good bit of time to upload but its seemed to just cause problems.

I had a look on their website. There are 3 files. A PDF and two CSV files with some information. Not shure how to use them. I guess this is the ''metadata''.

I'm able to download all 20 parts but I'm getting the error that parts 7 and 10 of 255135.partX.rar are corrupt. I've unpacked with WinRar, 7zip, and PowerISO.

Those rars are supposed to extract into 7 rars but because of the errors with the original rars 361 Siimm2 B.rar is corrupt and 361 Siimm5 B.rar is missing.

It seems like others are able to download and extract the whole pack so I'm wondering where my error is coming from.

Regardless of these occasional minor challenges that I occasionally encounter I do greatly appreciate the sharing of the material. Thank you, tg123.
