VSL Wagner Tuba Performance Legato Extract | 545 MB

The Wagner tuba combines tonal elements of both the French horn and the trombone
As the name suggests, this instrument was designed by Richard Wagner for his “Ring des Nibelungen”.

These are Kontakt 5.3 instruments. Will not work with any earlier versions of Kontakt.

Instruments' samples are compressed.
Instruments use from 20 to 60 MB of RAM alone.
They do not use much cpu and the modulation wheel is not assigned to anything.

I have composed a demo for this instrument: I am not sure if this is allowed, but here is a link for mp3 download (in rar):

The instruments dont load the compressed samples.

Only the performance legato loads only 1 group from 12.

There are not performance scripts, so although if loading all the samples, it is useless.

Feel free to write your own scripts. I would say always "it is not what you use; it is how you use it". Scripts are not going to make a virtual instrument sound like a real one.
It is not what you've got; it's how you use it.

drdark:

You say:"Scripts are not going to make a virtual instrument sound like a real one."

Performance scripts ARE the difference between a "dead" sample library and a live instrument.

We are musicians not programers.

Performance scripts ARE the difference between a "dead" sample library and a live instrument.

I play the guitar, and I can tell you: it would be easier to learn to play a real instrument than to try and imitate a real instrument by using a sample library with or without scripts. My point will always be: it is ridiculous trying to imitate real instruments: I am the only fool who does not have a nice guitar and mic so I'm stuck playing virtual guitars. But the sound of virtual instruments can be inspiring and that is what is important. Also, it is easy to create a good mix with virtual instruments because they can be eq'd and reverb'd easily, which leaves room for vocals and whatever acoustic instruments you've got. I am adding a signature to my profile: "It is not what you've got that could make a difference; it is how you use it that will make a difference."

Isn't that contradictory to what you wanted to say?
