Maschine Drum Selection is one of the two first libraries available for the new Kontakt Player. As its title suggest, this product features a bunch of drum kits from Maschine’s sound library.

This collection contains 20 full drum kits adapted from the hot new MASCHINE library. With hard hitting urban kits, sounds recorded from specially produced vinyl dubplates, heavily processed acoustic drums and vintage analog samples, MASCHINE DRUM SELECTION truly provides a broad palette of modern club and electronic music styles.

Maschine Drum Selection features :

Contains 20 drum kits from the MASCHINE library.

5 Urban, 5 Digital, 4 Analog, 2 Vinyl and 4 Production Kits.

Each kit consists of 16 high-quality sounds to which tuning, filter, saturation and other effects can be applied individually, allowing for plenty of sound-shaping potential.

The drum kits can also be loaded into the full versions of Kontakt 3.5, Battery 3 and Kore 2 as well as in the free Kore Player.

Hello People. Anyone else having a problem with loading in Kontakt or Battery?
Kontakt-File not suppoted or currupt
Battery-Library not regestered.

It doesn't work with Kontakt 4.1.0 (neither via "add library" nor manual loading of patches) or in Battery 3.1.1 (ERROR: could not encrypted sample library (library not registered?)).
Maybe we have to use only the latest releases of Kontakt 4 and Battery 3?

N.I's Site says Kontakt 5 + Battery 3. Still no joy here. Never had these popup errors in any Kontakt or Battery releases. Someonelikeyou.

Also can't get it to work with Kontakt 5. Same as above, never had a popup error before. Wierd. The quality of releases has gone downhill fast lately.

In Kontakt 5.0.0 by Team Assign i was able to add the library and load the patches but not in the "older" version of Kontakt 4 or Battery 3.
Now i'm trying to get it to work with the latest Battery 3 release by Team Assign (v3.2.3).
I'll report back later.

Thanks DonQ-Juz, I tried again to Add Library and it worked. I may have navigated to a folder inside the main folder earlier. Cool beans!!! Cheers, Someonelikeyou.

Still can't get it to work :(

Kontakt 5.0.1 and PC

Maybe I'm missing something? Is it not the same as other kontakt libraries, just extract and load the .nki file?

On Mac it's- Add Library from the Kontakt menu, navigate to the extracted MD Selection Library Folder, hit choose and the library should install. Someonelikeyou.

When I tried adding the library via VST in Ableton before, it wouldn't load and gave me errors. But I just added it via Standalone and everything is good. Weird. But, its working. wink

Yep...with Kontakt 5.x.x by Team Assign it should work via "Add Library" button....doing this in Standalone mode is recommend. Just browse to the main folder of the Library and hit the OK button.
Now it all should work within Kontakt 5, either in VSTi mode or as a Standalone.

In Battery 3.x.x you can't get it to work until this thing is properly registered via Service Center (i assume).
The Battery 3 releases by various Teams have no modified "Decryption" funcionality built in....i guess....so they can't do anything with unregistered libraries.

And since there are not so many encrypted libraries for Battery 3 released, it's quite difficult to handle such problems.
So for now i have no solution for this problem.....and it's even not a really big one....hehe. I still have the complete Machine library installed as WAV files....so it's not a big deal.
