Massive Preset Pack 48.000 with Database Fix

Can you imagine:
Even if you were able to audition 100 presets per day on a daily basis, it would still take you more than a year (480 days!) to finish auditioning the whole pack! LOL

Good man mono, we can always rely on you for the most ridiculously epic preset packs ever - thanks very much for your hard work. I used to download preset packs individually and always did my best to avoid dupes and keep them nicely sorted, but these days I just wait for your next massive drop! Speaking of which, time to go make some epic drops in Massive

Of course, thanks and respect to all the individual contributors who have supplied so many preset packs over the years - this wouldn't be possible without you fine folks as well!

@Mr. Hyde you could miss alot of presets that way
i do the same as you and try get packs myself to work with.
im sorting out about 3000 presets a day
- 10,000 for the dubstep pack what im happy with
so it should take about 3 weeks to have the update ready
and thats with out any new presets that get shared here in that time.

And any one that has any info on where the NIMassiveDatabase2_ul file is on mac would be great for the new bees and to add to the next info.
ps. The mouse has melted to my hand and the neighbors won't help for some reason ?

@ sharkweek open the massive stand-alone /file - top left/ options then browser set it to were your keeping the pack
you shound have this set already for massive to crash,
Then make sure this file is made read only NIMassiveDatabase2_ul
read info txt
you can put the pack anywere you like and set massive to look there
but the defalt folder is in your Documents folder
they could also load in quicker from there
instead of using them from a external hard-drive.

you can also keep the other pack posted by Axil or your own pack
in a other folder and setup massive to show the other folder
in the browser window,
there are lots of ways to find a setup that works for you.

The updated pack will be alot better when its made
im finding dubstep presets everwere.
They name there presets house, pro house ,electro even the hip hop folder had them in it. if it sounds like dubstep it is dubstep end of.
And they will be allocated to there rightful location lol

@Horic86 delete all the NiMassiveDatabase files here
C:\Users\ your name \AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Massive\

NIMassiveDatabase2_ul is the only one you need and to make read only,
sometimes there could be two or three databaes files these with other names,Then start up massive standalone it will make a new database there then close massive,make the database read only start up massive vsti or stand-alone and it will work,make sure to give massive a few sec to remake the database befor you make it read only or massive wont work.

ok quick bug fix for eveyone while i was sorting these out
i got to the trance & psy folder and massive stoped working
when i tryed to open the Trance Bass folder,
the presets that is messing up massive is called ( BA Distort.nmsv )
just delete it from the folder and massive will work ok.

ps, im not sure if this preset was what caused massive to crash in the frist place when it was making its data-base would be great if it was ?

frist part of the update with ( BA Distort.nmsv ) removed
fixed deep house to trap skiped the dubstep folder
but added all dubstep presets to it i found in them other folders,
them from 5th to the virus folder is sorted but could be updated
depending on what's in the mix folders.
The orchestra folder is sorted and added more to the bass folder sub ect,
ive also fix the sound level of some presets as some were ear poping
the rest will take a few weeks to sort but its getting there,

if you have any favorites open your favorites folder in massive
then press save as ,make a new folder anywere you like
and save each preset there as a backup,

just tried to post an updated version, completely organized with 54,000 in it. I get a notice from approver "Zeger Wu" stating that dump packs are not allowed on this site and that I need to look at rules before I post, ha! Tell that to my other 750 posts. There are so many compilation or all-in-one packs that get approved it's ridiculous, but I bet those uploaders didn't hear one stink about it. Saint needs to be addressed on the standards on this site because so much shit slips through and then others look "incompetent" when they try to do their part. The approving members on this site need a new overhaul and standards across the board on what can appear here and what can't.

i got that txt a few times as well and just glad this post got approved
im a bit worryed about posting the update but if it comes to the worst
can always post it on this post,

And from what i understand dump packs / homemade packs
have other stuff in them .like the post that got taking down on me
it has vst/ midi files and presets in it, but packs like this should be approved
it came with a database fix so not sure if that matterd as well.
