There are many versions of max 7... ( MAC/OSX )
Which version should I download for it ... to work in Ableton Live ?

Desctiption says it's for Live 9.1.7. As far as I know at this time, the latest Max version was 6.whatever. So Max 6 should be enough.

To get the latest Max 4 Live:
Once you've installed and authorized Ableton, go to Options -> Preferences -> File/Folder.
There is a Max for Live section. Click on "Download the latest version of Max from Ableton.com". The link will bring you to the Ableton website. You can make a free account there without entering any serial number. As far as I remember you can then download the Max setup.exe.

In any case: M4L comes as package of Max. Only Ableton Live has to be authorized via IO patch then M4L will be running as full version within Live while the main Max exe will be a demo only.

these are specifically for Live 9.2+ / Max 7+. you download the latest version of max from the cycling74 website.

has anyone been able to do jitter/gen~ editing in max4live (cracked) with max 7? the cycling 74 site says jitter/gen~ are now included and you no longer need to purchase them, but when i try to create/edit jitter/gen patches it says unauthorized…

hello, I have OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion with Live 9.2.1
I've tried all Max7 of this website, none allows me to edit devices of Max for Live made with Max7

I have had to stay with Max 6.1.8. :(
and with "Max.v7.0.1.MacOSX-HEXWARS" working only with Max7

we need a good Max 7.0.4, thanks anyway

u don't need a max 7 license to use it with Live Suite anymore (Live 9.2+). just use the official max 7 installer from the c74 website.

Max 7 doesn't go into trial mode with Live 9.2+. try it.

some time ago tried to install the official Max7, but when editing devices of Max for Live inside Live9.2.1 told me to Max for Live was in trial mode

it serves to use but after the trial expires I'm afraid that I can no longer continue editing
