i might be wrong ... but i recommend not to install all of these
Use the browser instead.
I once did with a similar package and it became VERY VERY Laggy ...
So, import only the packs you like.

I'm on a mac and when unzip Im not getting a folder, rather Im getting a txt file
Anyone else having the same issue? this is the error message Im getting

The document β€œMassive 52000 Presets” could not be opened. The file isn’t in the correct format.

what are you unzipping with?.. use a program called Keka.

Hey rain, I answer later in the thread, but there is a little trick not explained well so far.

on mac, download and use keka or unrarx. You are right, you are left with just another file. Append .zip to that, unarchive, and all good. Just did it myself, now how I will ever ever go through these patches is my problem :).....

As for those complaining about possible lag with adding this much to your database, is it just the lag the first time it scans it? or upon every subsequent instantiation of Massive? I could see both being the culprit, as NI's Kontakt keeps the db in active memory upon each instantiation, and if you have a large library, it could have a far larger RAM footprint.... that the case here?

if you get a lot of lag click on file in massive then click on options, click the browser tab then click on indicate empty categories and select none.

Standard Installation
unrar and Copy the subfolders into

C:\Users\your name ? \Documents\Native Instruments\Massive\Sounds

The presets will appear in your Massive browser the next time you launch Massive.

You may try to Rebuild the Database in Massive's Preferences but this will take a long time like 12 to 24 hrs
so just use them true the Massive browser,

Accessing the Installed presets.
Open massive. Click on "Browser" (upper right). Click on "Sounds" (left side middle).
Folder will be listed below on the left.

i would skip the Rebuild the Database part ,

The same on PC. After unpacking it's only 1 file (no folders or sounds).
Checked on my Mac + PC!
