Synapse Audio Dune 2 Mark Holt Addtractive Wavetables
The name addtractive refers to the fact that the wavetables contain all the harmonics of a sawtooth wave, but have been randomly assigned to different slots except for the first 8 harmonics, which are found in table cycles 1-to-8 respectively. In the case of filenames MH Add 01-04 the amplitudes of each harmonic are as they would be for a sawtooth wave. Thus, setting the number of voices to 8, WT position to 1 (in the GUI), init phase = 0, and set this line in the mod matrix Voice# +14 Osc1 WT position will give you a band limited sawtooth. Nothing interesting there, of course, but there is plenty of mileage in having fewer voices with different cycles to get a mixture of additive and subtractive synthesis.
Those filenames with PhC have all had their phases equalised, but still have the correct amplitudes. This gives some subtle differences to the first set. Finally, those that have Res in the name have had amplitudes normalised for each wavetable slot. Be careful with these as they are much louder than the others.
