Signaltonoize STN VM-CompLimiter HCL Varis CompLimiter Master For Nebula screenshot
Team MAGNETRiXX | 13 February 2014 | 26.17 MB
Variable Mu is known for it’s smooth polishing “GLUE”. A classic “auto leveling” tool.
Retains transient relationships within a mix. Allows control of the overall macro dynamics.
Flattering 2-bus frequency curve.
Smooth tube sound signature. (Wanting punch? checkout the DME 1968 & 165a)
Captured via Lynx conversion @ 24/96.
Variable Attack/Release

Usage Tips
Use your ears & not your meters. Tube compressors are extremely slow in comparison to VCA/FET
designs. VariMu by nature will have slower attack & longer release times. Use the MAKEUP GAIN/OUTPUT to set your final output level. Most importantly experiment.

Have you ever tried Nebula? It's actually one of the more interesting technologies out at the moment.

So you put no stock in the fact that many members here are telling you that it's worth taking a look at again? Pipotron2000 has been producing for at least 15 years. Perhaps you used a library that wasn't great. There are many truly excellent libraries that capture the spirit of the original hardware.

you did? i think you should quit and start another hobby. Your ears are defective, not suitable for music production, It's not an insult, I'm talking serious, if you cannot hear what nebula does then you have a problem with your ears.

First search for and install:
Acustica Audio Nebula 3 Pro 1.3.505

Second : put Vectors and Programs in the right folder in the equivalent Nebula folders.
Programs are "settings", Vectors are "samples".

Third : use "reverb" version of the dll to reduce CPU uasage, but it will raise latency.

And now, try reverbs (especially springs, plates), console (start with master output only, and add more elements after), new compressors are awesome, EQ, guitar cabs...

Now, i would use it more for mastering, offline rendering console, guitar cabs (Ownhammer rules the whole world), mechanical reverbs (no plug can touch Nebula on real springs/plates), high freq boost on mastering...but not on every track.
But some do almost all their mix with Nebula...

Be prepared for internet search and manual reading
