This release works with nebula pro 3 v1.3.903 and above

Based on Modern version of a 50’s classic. This compressor gives a very natural compression action, similar to that of a F*irch*ld

Whats new in v2?
All modes are now available in one preset.
Modes and recovery are now stepped
All sample rates compression and clipper
Improved attack and release
Dual modes improved

Single, double, triple

This affects both attack and release character. Single mode is a single time constant mode, Although this mode still has some program dependants to it. Dual mode and Triple modes are both very similar in their release times and are more program dependent, however triple mode has a faster attack. Triple mode may create some undesired distortion, if this is something unwanted use a slower release or use double/single mode

M1 and M2

This stands for type of metering, M1 is gain below threshold metering (I believe this to be more like hardware) and M2 is normal gain reduction metering.

The clipper

The clipper was added to emulate the saturation that the unit produces clipping transients. It’s not necessary to use it unless it’s desired but will control and saturate lows first, sounds great for that driving compressor sound. It is simply to clip/limit any transient let through by the attack of the comp. Simply place this after the comp preset.

Retro STA-Level is a 60's classic recreation and improvement.
The Retro Sta-Level is a recreation of the legendary 1956 Gates Sta-Level. The Sta-Level dominated the sound of hit radio in the 1960’s. Now, these super musical-sounding compressors have found their way into today’s hits.

The Sta-Level defines creamy smoothness when it comes to tube compression. Can be used on a number of sources, from a lowly hi-hat to a lead vocal, and each time its personality makes you want more. Can’t say enough about using the three-position switch with the Recovery knob. It makes this compressor eminently usable on almost anything you throw at it.

The whole reason to have vintage compression is for the sound it adds, and the STA-LEVEL adds a classic tone immediately. On acoustic guitar, you can hit it very hard, and the guitar still sounds like an acoustic and not a thwacking, pumping, midrange assault that can result from too much reduction with a lot of other compressors.

It can do soft compression and at the same time with its faster release mode, it can sound very “In Your Face” with tons of warmth and personality. Retro Instruments Sta-Level can add attitude to a lifeless vocal interpretation.

I think this release has been available online for a long time.

Please! Stop leaking the libs!
These small developers have already lost motivation due to prolonged leaks—they can barely earn anything...
Persistent leaks will gradually drive these developers away. We'll slowly lose all library updates and eventually stop seeing any new libs altogether...

I recently asked Alex and Tim (Cupwise) why they rarely sample new equipment nowadays. They both explained that due to persistent leakage issues, they've gradually lost motivation—they earn very little money and can't invest more funds to develop new libs.
If this situation continues, the entire Nebula community will ultimately face collapse.

They're not expensive at all.
If you don't like them, please don’t harm others and the community—after all, many people insist on using Nebula.
If you do like them, please continue supporting these developers.

Wishing everyone here better and better days ahead!

Nebula is something special. Always a treat. Thank you Maxspel, PiRAT, and AudioZ.

There are many private groups and individuals that internally share, trade, or exchange Nebula libraries. I do not own any libraries so I am not in these groups, but that type of behavior is just as harmful to the devs as having it on a website like this. There is no difference, they are still being robbed of sales. If you really want to see their business thrive and see more new samplings, purchase a copy for yourself!

The money makes the world go round.
Library trading is just as destructive. Make it public so we can all try and decide for ourselves. Plus, the reality is not everyone is able to purchase Nebula libraries or other vst plugins, for a variety of reasons that I will not get into.
