and still get messages when trying to play the preset that it is without license and preset won't have a sound ... anyone knows what to do about it ?

ps. I have the latest "tags.csv: (28-04-2025, the one shared here is 26-04-2025)
same for the content_properties.json (28-04-2025, one shared here is 26-04-2025) and I cannot figure out where to copy the .svg

You have to put all the samples, presets and NKS in the right place, even the old libraries (some sounds go pick in there).

Some expansions appear in the "Folders" menu instead of the "Expansions".

Is there a way to fix that?

In the NKS & Presets folders eliminate "Artist Series" from the name:
Artist Series Tiesto > XP Tiesto
Artist Series Steve Aoki > XP Steve Aoki
and so on...

Reopen the plug and it will show the libraries in Expansions with colored icon.

Try blocking the plug with the firewall or hosts file (Little Snitch) or it could call home... (this often works).

and now less cryptic? explain the steps to be done ? how can I block the plugin with the firewall inside my DAW ?

I'm on Mac and usually we block with the 'Little Snitch' app (If you do a search you will find it here on the site).

Open Little Snitch, drag on it AU or VST plug, in the popup window change from Allow (green dot) to Deny Outgoing Connections (red dot) then click Create Rule. That's all...

In the same way better to lock your DAW too.
