2010 is where it started... So imho, it became better in 2011-2014 era... But yeah, maybe too old, but there are some elements are still fine in modern drum'n'bass, bass house, brostep, tearout, hybrid trap and other hard EDM genres... Same as with trance leads and hypersaws supersaws from 90s, 00s, electrobasses from 70-00s which are still fine now and everywhere overused even in 2025, either EDM or pop.... Modern techno is still based on most electro, trance, house synth sound.... New styles, but still same good old gold synthy sounds there. What's new? Nowadays 808s based music is from drummachines made in 80s? Linndrum discopop in pop funk, house? Synthwave which is a sidechained disco? What's new? Combine styles, tempo, ideas, presets, samples.. All these styles are reimagination and rework of what already done.. Demo is shit, but what if the sound you are looking for is here? Classic samples are still in use as well. Nothing bad here. All these presetbanks, sample libraries are just your collection of everything. Stop thinking only about 2025

Dubstep was just a little bubble in EDM for a short time, mostly for some little kids trying to r*pe their cracked FruityLoops and VSTs. Dubstep will never be timeless, like Big Room EDM. And yea, Trap is next!
