dump question, but which programms are made to use such IRs (Wav) ?
Can I load it into Ableton Live Suite 12 into "Convolution Reverb"?
Or are there better 3rd Party Plugins to use?

Keep in mind that you always need to use this sort of IRs at 100% Wet signal. For most autentic tape sound, you can't blend it with dry signal, like you will do with time based IRs like Reverbs, Delay

U're pointing very well, anyway I use to *moderate* this kind of filters in many ways, and in many cases they continue to provide very nice improvements.

how do you mean by "moderate" ? Only for some tracks or more like NY-Compression (e.g. 50% dry signal and 50% wet signal).

Also, it's important to note that those IR's only replicate the frequency bump of the tape machine. For the distortion, you need to feed the IR's into a tape distortion plugin with no frequency bump (for example, Saturn)

ah ok, you mean after the 100% wet IR-Tape signal send it into Fabfilter Saturn (e.g.) ?
