I still can't get 0 latency. I have a Yamaha MGXXU 10-Channel Mixer I'm using as a USB audio interface. When I want to use something like this live or the line 6 helix, I get a couple milliseconds delay, and it totally stinks. I'm using reaper for a daw. Is there something else I should be using? A better interface I should get? I have adjusted settings for hours on end trying to fix it.

Hi! I don't think I can help... but here's my two cents:
There's no way you can notice a 2ms delay. If you manage to get such low latency, I'm telling you: IT'S AWESOME. Even your hardware Helix unit adds latency because of its AD-DA converters. 2 to 5 ms latency is considered NORMAL on digital hardware, and it's impossible to notice.
Up to 10ms (total) should be decent for a computer + DAW + audio interface.

Now, (what I think is) a GREAT TIP:
The higher the audio sampling rate, the shorter the latency. I know, it shouldn't make sense, but it does: 96K instead of 48K cuts the latency (ms) in half, with the exact same buffer settings. So a 96k-capable (or even 192k) interface will reduce the latency significantly. CPU load will also increase, so make sure you have some "processing" headroom.

Either way, 0 latency is IMPOSSIBLE. Anything below 5ms is FRICKING AMAZING, and most of us can handle under 10ms without trouble. Let me know how it goes!

Cheers!
