Cupwise FX Nolard Spring Reverb & Tape Delay (Nebula Library) screenshot
Nebula Library | AudioZ Exclusive | 1.13 GB
This great sounding spring reverb is unique among Nebula reverbs, because it includes a control which acts like a ’tilt’ EQ, tilting from ‘bassy’, through flat, to ‘trebly’. It sounds massive on the bassy side. I also provide a fade control which allows you to shorten the length of the reverb while keeping a nice smooth fade-out. These controls are both firsts in the Nebula world, and they allow you to fine-tune the sound so the reverb fits more perfectly in your mixes.

I made ‘lite’ versions for use during mixing, that you can use to audition the sound and find the best combinations of settings on the controls that work well in your mix. These versions load fast and use little resources, so you should even be able to use multiple instances. The full versions sound better though, so you should switch to them for rendering, which is quick and easy to do using the buttons on the included custom skin! There’s also a version of the reverb without the fade control, and another without the EQ and fade controls. Those use even less CPU, and all are accessible from the buttons on the skin.

The tape delay program is a bonus, but it can still come in handy on occasion and can sound great. Because of Nebula limitations you can’t fine tune all the relevant settings (such as delay length), but instead you get to select from 20 different delay effects, all in the same program. Each has different delay timings. Some are single tap, others are double or triple, and they all sound different due to the use of different tape speeds and EQ settings during sampling. You can get some great vocal doubling effects. The feedback control is awesome with these also, allowing you to get dub-style mutating echos.

Finally, there are also some bonus spring reverbs I made by ‘resampling’ the Nolard spring through an old Orban pseudo stereo processor I have. There are 6 of these ‘fake stereo’ reverbs, made using different setting combos on the Orban, and they actually sound pretty interesting and unique!

Includes a skin for both N3 and N4, created by JPN, which allows switching between all of the sampled reverbs by simply pressing buttons! Also, this release is now available in 44.1khz, 48khz, 88.2khz, and 96khz sample rates.

First of all, thanks for the great stuff!

Does anyone use both N4 & Aquas. With the R2R framework for Aquas, I got errors when compiling the Nebula stuff into vst3 (I read someone recommends using different machines for each). Is the way to replace Aqua framework with the 4.5 Nebula one when creating plugins & then revamping after that to use the Aquas?

With few libraries I get "Missing N4 Configuration File" error. Most work fine but I heard it's due to the framework?

Might be. I installed the framework the "lazy way".

No problems here at all, I have tons of Nebula libraries and R2R Aquas, all work perfectly together, so there is something wrong on your end

Any tips for plugin mode for Spring? Tape appears as a plugin, Spring Reverb does not. I already followed the manual, I deleted the files from the temp folder, opened the DAW as administrator, it generated vst3 without an error warning but it doesn't load as a plugin. Does anyone have the same problem or just me?

stupid question, but did you rescan after generating vst3? also, when creating the vst3, did it prompt with "missing program files"?

Thank you for your attention, I'm sorry for only responding now. Yes, I've already done all the steps.

If you have not messed with anything since original install: Copy and paste the spring skin setup files (from the downloaded zip folder) into your n4 setup folder and overwrite the previous files. Do only this. Now open DAW and rescan.

You responded to me a few days ago and only now that I saw it, I apologize too. Thank you very much, I will do that.

The Properties folder is incomplete, 48 files are missing. Is this happening to anyone else or is there just a few of us?

Same thing here.
