Introducing the revolutionary new software extension, „A.I. DAKING COMP II COMPRESSOR AND LIMITER PLUGIN EXTENSION FOR NAM!“ - the next level of non-linear impulse response making using AI machine learning.

With A.I. DAKING COMP II COMPRESSOR AND LIMITER PLUGIN EXTENSION FOR NAM! we captured the tube saturation, overdrive, and distortion characteristics of analog devices like a Tape recorder, Tube Amp, Mic Pre, Limiter, Compressor, and Guitar Pedals like never before.

The ultimate solution for those seeking to capture the warmth and character of analog devices like tape recorders, tube amps, and guitar pedals in their digital audio recordings.

This cutting-edge technology uses AI machine learning neural networks to create non-linear impulse responses that accurately replicate the sound of analog devices, which normal impulse responses cannot do.

This technology goes beyond traditional impulse responses, providing a more realistic and dynamic sound that truly captures the essence of analog devices.

You will only need to get the free plugin (NAM) that lets you use these AI machine learning non-linear impulse responses.

Simply download the plugin (NAM) from:

https://github.com/sdatkinson/NeuralAmpModelerPlugin/releases

and load the .nam files into the plugin to enjoy the next level of realistic analog compressor & limiter sound.

The Plugin that you need to use these files are available for free in various formats including Windows 10/11 64-bit (VST3,), Mac 10.15 and up (AU, VST3)

Don't settle for dull and lifeless Digital sound - get the A.I. DAKING COMP II COMPRESSOR AND LIMITER PLUGIN EXTENSION FOR NAM! and experience the next level of non-linear impulse response making.

These sounds amazing on Drums, Bass, guitars, vocals, keyboards, synths etc. you name it!

Am I doing something wrong? EVERYTHING I load into NAM sounds terrible. Correct gain staging, mono tracks, all right. All sounds completely awful.

Hi.

Can you please give us more detail? Whats sample rate are you using? Is it with every profile? Can you upload processed and unprocessed audio files so we can hear?

I guess 48k - does that matter?
It sounds like a weites filter, maybe comb filter, smears everything. I have tried it with 50 NAM profiles, even the free ones.

Oh and the same happens with Proteus and proteus extensions (.jason I guess).

*Remember that last NAM versions are meant to work from 48.000Hz.
*Disable gate, eq & *normalize* functions (u could try it once heard the real capture).
*Try different NAM locations in the chain (if u'r not using NAM in a side bus).
*Check & tweak different input gains (in NAM, daw & audio interface).

There's much more to learn, try & check in many forums along the www, includin', of course, some usual garbage (not always malicious but as a lack of experience or misunderstandings) that's imperative to filter through the own work.

I personally found NAM truely astounding, not just for bass & guitar, but as a sort of convolution loader which is so strongly feeded by PiRAT and other contibutors, I'm blown away, really.

Hey man, thank you. Im a professional mix engineer and really not a noob, but I could not make this NAM work. I disabled EQ, Normalize and everything else. Gain staging is correct. I don't want to use it for guitar. I want to load compressors, consoles, tapes and so on.

Also, it is correct that NAM is mono only, right? :(

Altough there are several ways to turn NAM to stereo this Wavemind app is truely very useful.

I guess that I don't completely understand what you say about those NAM issues, personally I'd never heard NAM *sounding bad* (far beyond many doesn't like it or found it unuseful). For me is, at least, a huge step forward, not only about guitar & bass, but what can I say about other's conclussions? I'm truely a noob, but I enjoy NAM a lot

Does it sound even remotely close to processed signal from demo videos? With some profile NAM can start to sound unrealistic if you start to feed it with excessive signal levels that goes way beyond levels that profile is trained on. Profile simply doesn't have information and "knowledge" how to behave beyond that level. But all of this PastToFuture profiles have been pretty resilient to levels even a few db beyond 0dbfs. How does it sound when you start to back down NAM input knob?

Superheroes don't always wear capes, if you look a little further down in the comments I have listed some of the tools that work with .nam & .json

personally I would recommend using "genome" but It's just a matter of personal taste, for my part all the converters, tapes, or compressors used sound really good with nam or any other pulse charger..

Oh yes, of course, exploring on your own is the key to discovering that Nam is not alone in offering incredible possibilities with these impulses.

Excuse me, the magic wand was put down, I used it humility is a secret witchcraft key

Thanks again, trae_hym.
This has been a very nice recent release of yours here.
I especially like the limiter because it brightens up when the input is turned up.
