AudioZ Exclusive | 6 January 2024 | 529 KB
101 PadSH Vol.1 contains 50 classic synth pads for D16 Lush 2 synthesizer. All sounds are inspired by classic 80’s and 90’s synth sounds and they are very versatile in terms of music genres. Where they really shine are in new age, synthpop, Synthwave, Pop music and early electronic styles.

This soundbank is the first volume of 101 PadSH. The next 51 pads presets will be released in the second volume of the series.

All presets were designed with Lush 2 Version 2.0.0 and run best in this or newer edition

LusH is an underrated beast in my opinion. It lets go crazy with layering sounds, it seems nobody has used it to it's full potential yet. It goes way beyond being a simple SH-101 emulation.

the thing is diving into layering in a single synth, it's in my opinion a lot more tedious than layering multiple synths inside the daw. You can have to take care of individual layers and keeping track is much more complicated than just looking at individually labeled channels inside the daw.

I love lush2 though, the sound is amazing, and the already layered presets sound BIG.

I agree that layering synth in a DAW is interesting and obviously more open if you use different synths.
But layering into a synth also have its advantages, like sharing layered presets, having all in one place, using them in different DAWs already mixed, etc ...

After installing these presets I have to say LuSH 2's preset browser is a MAJOR downgrade from LuSH 101.

The plugin doesn't seem to support subfolders for presets. Every preset you import is sitting in the user presets folder. The presets do have tags now, but that doesn't help if you just want to browse a specific preset pack, or presets that you made yourself. The more presets you have, the harder it will be to keep track of them.

I think it's a major oversight and it's fucking mind-boggling to be honest, because LuSH-101 had subfolder support.
