Every free user-made ToneX profile (give or take) released on tone.net since its launch in one single huge database.

Every free user-made ToneX profile (give or take) released on tone.net since its launch in one single huge database. To use it with ToneX :
- Place it in your Documents\IK Multimedia\TONEX folder
- Delete, move or rename your existing Library.db file (reminder : Library.db is the database file that ToneX looks into while running, containing the profiles that show up)
- Name this downloaded database "Library.db"
- Good luck trying 20.000 profiles ! Star your favorite ones, build yourself a good relevant custom database and enjoy !

WARNING 1 : There are 19.000+ profiles in this database. ToneX will take ages to start, that's completely normal. And that's why you should always delete profiles you don't need to build your own custom database, using the videos below as a tutorial.

WARNING 2 : As of 2023-11-30, 21.500 profiles were listed on tone.net. After a double-check, not any single day of profiles is missing in this file, yet there are between 1.500 and 2.000 profiles "missing". That number is more than 1 month worth of profiles. The logical explanation of this difference is that IK Multimedia included "Collections" profiles in their count, + profiles that were re-posted by users.

Some profiles can really be missing though. On the contrary, there are some profiles in this database that were deleted from tone.net since.

Periodic databases posted here bi-monthly are still the way to go for experienced users to update their own custom database. But the whole thing in one package appeared to be needed as well for all kinds of users.

No sorting has been done, it's a raw pile of data you will want to sort by yourself to suit your needs with 2 free softwares (not included) : ToneXdbExplorer (by CodeFN42) and SQLiteStudio (by SQLiteStudio).

See the videos below for short tutorials on how to proceed. AudioSex is a great place to ask for help if needed.

Feel free to comment if you see something wrong/strange, any help is welcome

Good Job Oly!
If you only look at one side of the coin, you'll never truly know if it's a coin.

I've done nothing. Only the post.
The ones that deserve to be thanked are the contributors who work hard to compile this every month.

What?? on my PC (I build it in 2013) the standalone take less than 30 second to start

Man 30s is huge for a plugin to start, imagine on a DAW project where there are several instances... That's why I always use shorter DBs that take less than 5s to start.
That said, I just tried opening this full one again, I counted 8s which is quite fine (2019 PC). 1st launch was indeed 30s or so. Heh, I might be wrong in the end !

For sheer minimalism and clean GUI, I'm still all the way for a short custom DB without the 19K other profiles I know I'll never use
