N-CHAOS is an explorative 16 parallel bandpass chaos filter with high cpu efficiency and quality of life features to get unique spectral movement with very little setup!

Most Phasers have very limited modulation capabilities, with most phasers offering the same random modulation for all bands at the same time. N-CHAOS breaks this rule and randomly modulates all 16 bandpass filters with independent seeds, creating beautiful and chaotic filter movement not possible with classic phasers.

On top of doing things a bit different, N-CHAOS lets you FREEZE the filter positions, creating unique vowel/spectral like filter combinations. The White dot is a RETRIGGER for those band positions, allowing for manual control over when the bands change position.

This m4l device also offers a SUB SPLIT function, making sure your lowend stays clean and usable for more specific sound design tasks.

Note: This M4L device is best used with resampling in mind, as saving and reloading a project is currently buggy. N-CHAOS is random in nature so it was never meant to be a permanent effect! :)

FEATURES:

•BLUE: Smoothes the filter position changes, allowing for lfo-like modulation.
•PURPLE: Adjusts the speed of the filter position changes. From very slow to chaos.
•MAGENTA: Increase the bandpass Q's, causing stronger band isolation.
•FREEZE: Freezes the current filter positions.
•BUTTON: Retriggers a new random filter position.
•SPLIT: Splits the lowend at 140hz to ensure clean unprocessed sub frequencies.
