Impulses 1-13 canceles when flipping phase on one of them. Same with 14-15. What's the point of doubling the same files and adding them in the pack? Basicly there are only 3 impulses: 1,14 and bonus

they are not the same file, as an example from 1-13 the noise floor level is from low to high -100db to -80db respectively. They have the same EQ curve but the noise floor level is different. It doesn't make much of a difference in a null test because it will only show even lower than -100db.

Here's screenshot to prove it : noise floor level

Even at -80db it wont make much of a different but some people believe it affect the sound somehow. People in audio community have divided opinion when it comes to noise floor level affecting the sound and this pack maybe want to satisfy both party.
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

Stevie, thanks for sharing the verification images.

These differences are very small if they are the result of using only IR. But when combined with other plugins, like the chain recommended by PastToFutureReverbs, the differences are very significant.

I found the IR to be a well worthwhile effects option.

This is what i expected for a 15 IPS tape to sound like, really dark and bumpy. Remembers the II tape formula from Kiive's Tapeface at 15IPS. With Saturn for the tape saturation and compression this little thing becomes a beast.

My chain is:

Convolver (bonus tape IR) -> Saturn (more complex controls, which i prefer to get my sound) or Airwindows tape (for more bump)

Thanks trae_hym

Someone was able to understand how the bonus differs?

I saw great potential in the PastToFutureReverbs concept through the various tests of this IR. The tests were done for a variety of cases, including the chain they recommended. The results were "very beneficial".

I also tested several hardware IRs from PastToFutureReverbs, and I even thought that their own plug-ins (not the way they use third-party plug-ins) should be developed to expand on their concept.

I compared multiple IR-enabled plug-ins and Waves IR1 Efficient gave the most beautiful results. It is not only the quality of the output sound, but also the ease of operation, so I exported all the IRs as presets.

There are many plug-ins that emulate famous hardware and space (reverb), but the IR method gives a completely different sound than those. Whether the sound is good or bad can only be left to your personal opinion depending on how you use it, the situation in which you use it, and the purpose for which you use it.

For myself, I found all the hardware IRs released by PastToFutureReverbs to be "beneficial" enough that I went to the trouble of converting them to Waves IR1 presets.
