This is MegaMagic: PADS for Korg Wavestate! This is the FIRST HARDWARE synth I have supported with any PlugInGuru sample based libraries!

With the FREE UPDATE to version 2.0, Wavestate owners find themselves with 4GB of battery-backed RAM in their synth so here are some samples to load into it and play with in the creative ways only a WAVESEQUENCING powered synthesizer can!

Since these are 100% sample based patches, they sound like NOTHING inside of the factory or ANY other 3rd party patch libraries for Serum. So get some MegaMagic sounds for Serum and take off on some amazing new musical adventures! MegaMagic PADS is all about making beautiful, powerful, happy, sad, ominous, angry emotions… into sounds that you will get goose pimples when playing. Well, at least I did! I set up some unique rules for this library to make sure it is 100% original and unique: These samples were created 100% β€œin the box” – meaning, I didn’t sample 20 year old analog synthesizers…. Theses are 2 or 3 layers of various virtual DSP synthesizers PLUS the MegaMagic reverb effect processing used to make the most beautiful CURRENT synth pad sounds possible! There are a bazillion different libraries where people sample all of their old analog/digital synthesizers. That’s nice but….

It’s already been done!

So for this library I used: ElectraX, Codex, Nave, Sculpture, Loom, Blue, Wavestation, ES2, Spire, Nemesis, and the original Alchemy as my sound palette.

so Wavestate 2.0, but we only have 1.1.1 here, unusable i'm assuming? I thought because R2R released the last iteration 1.1.1 and prior had a 1.1 that these were the most up to date. Did they just come out with a big jump to 2.0?

I have not tested this bank, there is information on this thread, other members are trying to find the solution, this bank should work under vsti.

Wavestate 1.1.1 includes KORG Wave Sequencing 2.0.
Current KORG wavesdtate native dl appears to be 2.1.0.
Saving to test later after upgrading from 1.0.1 to 1.1.1.

I just imported presets in Wavestate plugin and it says "succesful" for all banks. But When I click on a preset I get "sample missing" everytime. I tried to put sample folder inside Korg Wavestate system folder (where factory samples are stored) but it's not working. Do you know where I shoud put them ?) thanks

First you have to use version 1.1.1. This version allows you to use user samples in a defined directory by yourself. Then import all samples in the Korg Wavestsate Samplebuilder 1.1.0 and save the bank for the plugin as MegaMagic Pads.korgcompiledbank. Copy this bank to your user sample folder. Open the plugin and go to the the librarian tab and open User Sample Banks and click on OK/refresh. Now the sample bank is recognized!

yeah.. these are incredible difficult to make work.... I don't get this make a bank function... is there any videos how to deal with these libraries.. all I get are missing samples all the time...

Ok got this working on Mac

Install:

Download: Sample_Builder_110_mac.dmg

Open Sample Builder

Select β€˜Bank’ in top right of GUI - β€˜Bank’ Will turn blue

File - Open Bank

Go to 3rd party preset folder and select the relevant .korgbank file
(ie. 00_MM Dreams-Pads V1.korgbank)

Open

File - Save Bank for Plugin-In

Save

Copy original 3rd party .korgbank file to Users/shared/Korg/wavestate native/System/Internal/Defaults/User

Copy Saved Bank (.korgcompiledbank) to Users/shared/Korg/wavestate native/System/Internal/Defaults/User


Then in Wavestate plugin select β€˜LIBRARIAN’ tab

Select top right

β€˜User Sample Banks…’

Select location as Users/shared/Korg/wavestate native/System/Internal/Defaults/User

OK/Refresh

Select top right

Import

Go to 3rd party preset folder and select the relevant .wsbundle file




Done !

Dear sir, when " Select location as Users/shared/Korg/wavestate native/System/Internal/Defaults/User " it crashes my daw and tried also as standalone, both crash when selecting the folder with the korgcompiledbank, if it move it it opens as usual but with those files in it it crashes immediatly,

I'm having a similar issue (Mac Mini Monterey 12.6.2 Standalone and VST/AU Ableton). Wavestate Native will crash every time I have the .korgbank and .korgcompiledbank file in User folder before opening it. I can open Wavestate Native then copy the files to the user folder, but it will crash when I go back to the 'User Sample Banks' option (even though the location is already saved). If I do the same (open Wavestate/copy files into user folder) and try to just import the .wsbundle file instead, the "importing bank please wait" window pops up, but never imports anything. It's not frozen, it just doesn't import. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately no. I did realize though when I tried to import other banks, the same situation would happen where it says "importing please wait", but never goes beyond that. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling wavestate native (both MORIA and R2R versions), and still have had the same issues. I'm out of ideas. If anyone with this problem has figured it out, I'd love to know how.
