-And there is an instruction pdf file how to load my SoundSet into your WaveState and also into the WaveState Native VST PlugIn.

- The SoundSet is compatible with the VST plugin of the Korg WaveState.
All patches that contain wave sequences, I made in the original key of the orinigal composition.

Yes my bad. I was just having issues since it was missing the install PDF. I usually refer to that when installing. Thank goodness that people had posted how to install this with a video link.

One got to love the Wavestate of for its programmable parts and Maik Schott really made me experience that. With some footswitches/controllers this thing is a beast (the VST too of course). Just saw the other vids of Maik. This man really has put in lots of work to make the Wavestation such a great working horse for live performance. If you can effort this its a really good idea to support him. Not only of his patching work but also for his great video's and documentation. This man is really passionate. Putting his Gumroad link in my "to buy" favorites. Totally going to support him.

I prepared for plugin with Korg's software, set user sample folder in VSTI but plugin dont see/import *.korgcompiled file. I could import other release cause there is *.wsbundle file.

The KORG Sample Builder he uses in the video is available from KORG free from their site as an 18.5mb zip:

However the video is Mac oriented and it is unclear where to put the files. I will put its folder in H:\KORG where I put the Factory data folder called "wavestate native" and then import the .wsbundle from the included Patches folder using the Standalone. I will see if the folder I Import them from needs to stay there or if the data is written into the db and I can del that folder. Maybe the Sample Builder is needed for the VSTi.

The bundle imports via Wavestate's internal Librarian and makes 2 new items called Synthesizer Legends. One has 90 sounds, the other has 4. Most of the sounds don't do anything so I probably need to update first. I used Undo Import.

Since there are no instructions on how to install this....... here is what I did on Windows 10 for the Wavestate Native VST plugin:

- extracted this somewhere. It seems this is only needed temporarily, but I have no clue where this actually winds up when imported.
- Load up wavestate native VST
- top right, click LIBRARIAN tab.
- top right, click the three dots icon
- Click import
- Find the .wsbundle file in the Patches folder and select that
- You now appear to be done with the files you extracted. Again, no idea where this stuff ends up. at best guess somewhere in C:\Users\Public\Documents\KORG\wavestate native (note PUBLIC, not your user)

I tried to do that... a "Import File" box apears... but it does nothing.

Also tried the offical way with the Sample Builder... but as soon I place a .korgcompiledbank file in the folder FL Studio 20 shuts down...

Are you on Mac, by any chance.. or doing this on the hardware? I forgot to mention that the steps I did above were for Windows and for the Wavestate Native *VST* (also, not sure if these steps work on Mac).

If on Windows, when you click import, it should bring up a file explorer for you to hunt for the .wsbundle file.

Also, for me, it WORKED.. but I'm not sure if this is the correct way to do this. My Wavestate doesn't have Sample Builder (or I can't seem to find it - Edit: @sungirl mentioned where to grab the Sample Builder), and the rar above didn't have the .korgcompiledbank file, so I just did it the other way that a video mentioned to do (my instructions above).

I use FL Studio 20 on Win 10.
Strange thing... my DAW even shuts down if i try to save a new preset in Wavestate.....

If I Import file it says Please Wait...and it stays that way forever , so no working here also

Im using 1.1.1 on Win10 as Standalone and also tried the vst on my Daw

then used the Sampler Builder but it crashes my Wavestate if I try to Import, tried to use a lower version 1.0.5 and didnt work as well, thanks anyway for helping

edit: tried to work everything as Admin and also as normal and it didnt change.

Had the exact same problem... so i can solve your problem :)

Check your Factory data folder "wavestate native"...mine was read only... after i changed all the files, it worked fine. I realized this, when i tried to save a new preset and it shut down... now this works also :)

Great. It works, but the data is regrettably not complete.
Example: Fade to Grey Pad. Samples Missing (A: Sample Lane Step A1)

Still don't figured out how to import the .korgcompiledbank files created with Sample Builder. Instead imported the .wsbundle files. Is there any difference between the two ways to import ?
