Massive still makes a better Bass sound IMO.
But Serum is a one stop shop for anything synth above that one job.

And not even NECESSARILY a better Bass sound,
a better purely GENERATED Bass sound.

But Serum lets you lay in wavetables and all that,
so maybe Serum is better.

You tried putting the massive wavetables into serum. Serum's workflow is a lot better and easier to understand than Massive. But either is good preset wise. Gogoi presets are good on both.

used massive for like 4 years and never fully understood some less-necessary functions, but serum I'm using for about 2 years and took way less to fully master it, some weeks or so.
