Featuring unique sets of mixed, matched and layered percussive elements based on anything from classic drum machines to textures of cutting edge sound design, the Dance EZX presents a total of 15 custom drum kits designed to paint a broad brushstroke across the entire commercial range of modern electronic dance music.

It was engineered by Timofey Reznikov, DJ, producer and composer from Belgium with cuts on platinum-selling albums by the likes of David Guetta, Regi and Dimitri Vegas. Setting out to capture not solely the percussive nature of all the splintered subsets of the genre, it also includes a large pool of chromatically tuned tonal instruments as well as a selection of unique sound effects tailor-made to fit the sonic identity of each kit.

Open the "Aversion" file in the "EZXTTDNE" folder with Notepad, and change the line to "minreq EZ 2.2.2", then press save. Works for me!

It needs new version of EZDrummer (2.2.3)

Modifying the Aversion file (change 2.2.3 to 2.2.2) will open it with an error message that it is not running properly and needs newer version of Ezdrummer. It still produce sound and the GUI loads, just to take a look what's in the package. Hopefully VR will release an update soon for the EZD and SD3.

Works fine for me, no error in standalone or DAW. Using VR 2.2.2. Windows 10, Reaper.

1. you should mention you edited the Aversion file.

2. open the patch "Classic House 1" from EZX Dance in EZDrummer then key in the note G4 legato (long note) on the Midi Editor in your DAW and playback. You'll hear a short burst of that sound. Clicking the pad with mouse also will give you short burst.

3. doing the same thing to the same patch in Superior Drummer will get a long sound until the midi end (MIDI OFF message) from the Midi message.

4. in EZDrummer 2.2.2 clicking the pad FX1-FX4 (note G4-F#4) with mouse also will get you short burst. Pressing your Midi Keyboard though will get a long note for as long as the note is pressed.

5. EZDrummer 2.2.3 gets a MIDI NOTE OFF bug fix (and update) that already been implemented in Superior Drummer.

6. that kind of error makes all the FX & Instruments notes in all the patches in EZX Dance not playing correctly as programmed in EZDrummer.

maybe you don't know that opening EZX in SD3 will give you "Black Box" with one slider instead of the proper FX controls of the included patches in EZdrummer causing some people prefer to use the EZX expansion in EZdrummer. That, full GUI and almost half the CPU power.

We have given V.R the update (as we usually do) a few days ago.
It only normally takes them a day or 2 to crack, but they are Ukrainian and they have further troubles at the moment than cracking. So we will have to wait.
But as has already been said, you just edit the Aversion file and it works fine.
