You probably need to disable updates, not so convenient for a legit user. I never had a legit verion of Ableton so i can't help so much with that but disabling updates is probably the first thing to do. Will it work after that? I don't know. Anyway Cookbook 1 pack is only €39, i would spare money rather than risk your copy for a single "non legit" pack.
