The win links have just the folders to be copied and pasted to the related directories, the only doubt i have is the 4 samples outside the "samples" folder, not really sure where to put them really.

Where did you find Win links in this post? I can't remember which I tried - rapidgator or uploaded - but I doubt it matters since they are both EXACTLY the same size, therefore probably the same content:

Can somebody give me an idiot's guide to what to do with this .pkg file? I seem to have extracted it, but what do you do then?

Win or mac? I'm on win, just copy the folders in the related Arturia presets and samples directory following the same folder structure, example: copy PatchWorks folder for ARP 2600 V3 downloaded file in "C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets\ARP 2600 V3\Factory", and so on with every folder for presets and samples, samples of course is another directory, example: PatchWorks samples folder for CMI V will go to "C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Samples\CMI V\Factory", you just have to follow the simple folder structure from the package you have downloaded :)

I've had three folders with files that say 'Bom', 'Package info', 'Payload' and 'Scripts'. Extracting Payload, gave me the presets eventually (I think).

You have downloaded the preset pack from the wrong link, read my comment above as response to chumbolito, you will find just the separate folders inside a rar archive, anyway, win or mac? 'cause if you are mac user i don't know if it's different.

Maybe it works for you but if you have the same issue (on windows) here's what i found out: i was getting "missing samples" on almost all presets by "Commuter" designer for CMI V, files are on the right directory and have the same name but even if you locate them it will ask you again when you re-open the preset, apparently there's some hidden character or something similar even if the names are exactly the same, don't know why exactly, to solve this annoying issue you just have to copy the filename text from the Arturia missing files window to the file itself, it's the fucking same name but if you do in this way it will not ask you to relocate samples again when you re-open the preset.
