And here we go with another killer-cab owned by Austrian Metal Producer Norbert Leitner.

If you are looking for aggressive sound with a fat low-end, you should give this german warship a try.
Low tuned guitars and tons of gain – this is, where she feels at home.

Resonance frequency: 93 Hz.

This whole collecton of Valhallir's IRs is very nice and creative. I really appreciate that it comes in 48/24 as well as 96/24 audio quality. 44.1 is just a relic from CD times. Don't think I'm not using all of these sampling frequencies, though. I just know when, how, and why I use a certain frequency and bit depth [even 8 and 12bit, 32kHz, sometimes even lower].

However, if you get something in 96k/24bit, you can easily SRC it. The problem is when you get something in 44.1 and ffs 16-bit... then upsampling it doesn't make that much sense. It still does, to avoid getting aliasing created by certain plugins or samplers when you process these samples, but most of all to avoid real-time SRC of your DAW and additional CPU usage for nothing if you work at anything but 44.1kHz. These days, it is used more and more rarely.

Thank you soooo much Olymoon for these really nice IRs!

Cheers!

These Valhallir IRs contain two folders with *.wav files.
One is MP and the other is and RAW.
What's the difference?

Thanks for posting these!

Skyblues:

are for prevent or solve phase issues when using multiple IRs from same or different makers.

From the official V2 guide:

... the V2-packs also contain the RAW-shots (real phase shots) as well as MPT (minimal Phase) shots. As RAW represents just the "real life" distance and phase, when miking a guitar cabinet, the MPT-shots are optimized for multi-IR use without the usual phase issues, that appear, when mixing RAW-files or "real" microphones. We recommend RAW-IRs for singe use, as we suggest the MPT IRs for mixing or stereo setups. But - don't be afraid to try both and decide to your personal preference! ...
