Tonepusher Chariots Of Tones For XFER RECORDS SERUM-DISCOVER screenshot
DISCOVER | 19/November/2020 | 3.35MB
Our new pack called ''Chariots of tones'' is a collection of premium presets designed for Xfer Serum directly inspired by the work of Vangelis. Vangelis is a Greek musician and composer of electronic, progressive, ambient, jazz, and orchestral music.

He is best known for his Academy Award-winning score to Chariots of Fire (1981), as well as for composing scores to the films Blade Runner (1982), Missing (1982), Antarctica (1983), The Bounty (1984), 1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992), and Alexander (2004).

This pack contains 50 professionally designed presets such as Leads, Basses, FXs, Pads and of course Vangelis's signature Brasses. Some of the macro controls only need a slight touch to change the sound completely and come up with something completely fresh, the possibilities are endless. Whether you want to deconstruct the sounds and learn how it's been made or simply use them in your next production, each sound is mix ready for your next production.

There must be one place where to look exactly how he did this sounds originally, these ones sound too fat and a bit low endish to my ears but beautiful sound though.
Thanks discover

They have a preset pack for the Arturia synths that's technically a lot closer to his actual sounds -- the BLADE RUNNER stuff is particularly on the money.

Always sweet to have anything Vangelis-inspired (provided it's crafted with talent of course).
This sounds not bad, although not exactly "near-identical" either obviously. "Inspired" seems the proper term here...

(Note : Rendition of "To the Unknown Man" 's tempo is WAAAYY TOO fast though, that disturbed me straight away!)

All in all a great and worthy share Discover, a sincere thank you for it!! :)
