I had the same problem. And I also asked and waited a long time for answer. But some hero gave a solution in the original thread or the update thread that I can't be sure. Anyway if I remember correctly you just delete the "User Settings.xml" file found in the STEAM/Omnisphere/Defaults folder and you are good to go.

Gives me either wrong password, incomplete, or corrupt.
