AfroDjMac The Round Wavetable Ableton Live Pack For ABLETON LiVE 10 [FREE] screenshot
For ABLETON LiVE 10 | 3 MB
Ableton Live 10 comes with a beast of a new synthesizer, Wavetable. Wavetable, as expected, uses wavetable synthesis to produce a near endless potential of sounds. To celebrate this new instrument, I've enlisted the help of 6 talented producers and sound designers. I ask them to send along a few presets using Wavetable, in any genre or style they wished. The result is 32 Wavetable and Instrument Rack presets that showcase the depth and power of Wavetable, as well as some of the other new devices in Ableton Live 10.

Here are the Creators...
What makes this collection of sounds special is the people who created them. I'd like to thank them all for taking time out of their busy schedules to produce such complex and exciting presets for us all to enjoy. Be sure to check out their work and all of the amazing gifts they've created for the music production community.

Thomas Glendinning - Thomas Glendinning is an Ableton Certified Trainer and runs the site ELPHNT, a place for music makers using Ableton Live. Here is an excellent tutorial on the new modulation devices in Max for Live. You can catch Thomas on the Music Production Podcast.

Josh Spoon - Josh Spoon is an Ableton Certified Trainer and runs The Producer's Kitchen. Check out his Keck Wavetable Pack, inspired by "computer systems that power spaceships." Josh was kind enough to appear on the Music Production Podcast.

Mark Towers - Mark Towers is an Ableton Certified Trainer and Max for Live programmer. Visit his site to learn more about his work and to download some powerful Max for Live devices. Mark spoke on the Music Production Podcast about his work and the release of The Arcade Series Returns.

Mark Mosher - Mark Mosher is a talented synthesist from Boulder, Colorado. His site, Modulate This!, is an excellent stop for synthesizer technology and technique. Mark runs the Rocky Mountain Synthesizer Meetup, and has been programming patches on Wavetable since Day 1!
PS: Be sure to check out Live's Info Tab for valuable information about each of Mark's Instrument Racks in this collection.

pATCHES - pATCHES is an excellent resource for Ableton Live and Max for Live Packs, as well as visually pleasing tutorials. Their auto-sidechaining device, pump, has become a mainstay in my productions. I had a great conversation with Dan and Pierce of pATCHES on the Music Production Podcast.

Isaac Cotec - Isaac Cotec is a producer and Ableton Certified Trainer. His site, Subaqueous, has tons of resources for music production and Ableton Live. Isaac has been hard at work with a series of deep and thorough sound design tutorials for Wavetable, not to mention a Future Bass preset collection for Wavetable.

Wavetable Walkthrough and Tutorial
I encourage you to did deep and investigate each of the presets in this collection. There's certainly a lot to learn about programming Wavetable, building Instrument Racks, and using Live 10's new devices. I hope that it encourages you to build your own patches. Below is a 40-something minute tutorial and walkthrough I made about Wavetable, its parameters, and how Push 2 can be used to control it. Enjoy!
