KV331 Audio SynthMaster 2.8 Presets fixed

I feel you dear contributor. Legit user here too - but I stopped using Synthmasters alltogether. Instead of focusing on solving issues on one synth, they decided to develop a second, because :facepalm:

First of all, many people had some issues with the v.2.8 release in the link here for authorisation. I"m on Windows 8.1 and use Studio One 3.5 x64 and Cubase 5 from Air x32. Got it all working, but wasn"t aware of this time trap. So thank you very much Olymoon and of course the man behind this cracked presets. This is a huge job. So i got it to work by rename the keyfile by removing "windows" at the end and resave. Very important : place this in Documents/ Syntmaster. I also put the same in the actual directory. Restart pc and it worked flawless. Hope this was helpfull.
UPDATE : I forgot to mention to block the .exe in the directory in you're Firewall.. but don't use the one from Windows OS itselves, because that's crap. I use the Firewall from my Anti-Virus. So block Synthmaster.exe in directory and i also blocked my DAW's from out AND incoming. Otherwise E.T "Synthmaster" calls home . OR like Oly suggested previously, use for example ZoneAlarm Firewall, it's free and totaly customisable, altough like also said by Oly..it has some "learning curves", wich i experienced myself.
Think it's the best to look at Zonealarm homepage how to work with it. For me for now, it's a bit confusing. For MAC users i believe " little snitch" ould do the job, not sure, i'm not familiar with Mac. I'll keep you guys posted

once, i asked if there was going to be some soundbanks made by well know designers. the answer was 'we have spent a lot of money on making presets, bla bla'.

as i already said in another thread,
a vsti plugin without tons of presets, even if it is the best instrument ever made, people will ignore it.
almost a decade later, we still have top soundesigners making new sounds for diva, sylenth, massive..

i don't know why sound designers refuse to make soundbanks for synthmaster, but, I'm sure it has to deal with the conditions and policies and rules the synthmaster guy wants to impose to those sound designers, like
-your soundbanks belong to us
- you can't sell them on your website, or 3rd party website
-your soundbanks must only be sold at kv331 website
-we choose the price
-we choose the price drops
-we reserve the right to invade your house, grab your computer and your dog

synthmaster is a fantastic synth. too bad the existing presets don't even use 5% of the synth possibilities

instead of making synthmaster 3 or another great synth, he followed the 'wavetable' trend, because serum was a success, waves, kv331, vengeance, and many others, had to release a wavetable based vsti.also, the ads at kvraudio bring him enough customers.

synthmaster with a few dozens top sound designers, like devine, vandalism, freshly squeezed samples, etc etc, the would be some amazing sounds.
but hey, who are those top turkish soundesigners that worked on synthmaster?

though, we must praise something: synthmaster was the first top vsti to be sold at barely 30-50 bucks, even the less rich folks could buy a very good vst instrument. for that : bravo

regarding the purchased banks that must be tied/linked to the buyers full name:
ex, i buy soundbank 12, i save sound n° 25 as a synthmaster preset, i send it to another legit buyer, the sound won't play because it comes in a soundbank that guy hasn't purchased

BUT
what if i buy a synthmaster soundbank, and
i load each preset and save it as .fxp, in cubase. now, that fxp preset has lost all the personal data from inside synthmaster, right ?

now, if i send 128 fxp presets to a guy, if he fires synthmaster, he should be able to open a fxp file, and play the preset from the purchased soundbank.

is this correct ?

anyone else had an issue where synthmaster stops working after a short while?
it installs fine but the it gets corrupted. i am guessing this is some kind of time bomb?..

Woohoo! I've been waiting for this :)

@filtersweep if it comes to the worse you can try using the hexwars version again as it has the same presets ,with all the time put into trying to get these presets working again on the update am staring to think was it wort it lol but at least if you own the plugin without the extras you can use them now as well.

This keyfile doesn't work for me on mac. Says error in the file on the reg screen.

How i got it to work with everything working is that the provided licensekey is the problem. So, what i noticed is the licensekey is different here then from 2.8.10 post. So, i pasted the 2.8.10 post licensekey in documents/synthmaster and now, no issues at all. I ran thru the presets also. No issue. Hope this helps.
